Looks great! A question if I may: Did you use some sort of mod or setting to make the rain look like that? One thing I've always been disappointed about when I switched from vanilla resolution to MGE was how it turned the rain into more of a light drizzle.
I'm using the rain mesh and texture from Skies IV. Combined with per pixel lighting from MGE XE you should get this effect. But be warned - per pixel lighting will eat your fps. I almost exclusively use it in interiors. You can easily turn it on or off by using the macro editor included in MGE XE.
You can also edit the number of rain drops for different weather conditions in the morrowind.ini. My settings are:
