    The night skies are unbelievably gorgeous. Very surreal but fitting.

      This palette is SO much fun. You get some reeal freaky results. I have some other pics that are stunning that I am waiting to post.

    Wow, that's...really weird. Not something I'd use, but I can definitely see why some people would use it--sort of has a comic book feel. I look forward to seeing your other palettes, though--for some time I've been looking for a way to give Morrowind a darker, moodier, almost noire vibe.

      It is more for fun than a permanent shader set up. Believe it or not it has taken me some time (like a hell of a lot) to get something like this working. I have had similar effects from other experimental palettes but this one has the most brilliant effects. The video showing the effects underwater and inside the daedric shrine should at least make you want to try it once or twice

      ***Also keep in mind I am using The Symphony and Scripted Lightings so your armour and lights will not look like these. I don't know what they will look like. Hopefully users will upload some pics to share with us.***

      Here, the main pic is taken with my wip "film noir" palette
      http://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/images/2473/?

      I also have a MidNight palette that darkens things but if you want to play in black and white then there is already a shader that does it. Download my PurpleHaZe Palette Collection and follow the Read Me instructions and you will find out where to get it.

      Cheers.

      I actually played a bit with the palette shader in my last playthrough, experimenting with different palettes from Skyrim and Fallout: New Vegas ENBs, but I never found one that didn't make everything look blown out. I think your Purple Haze palette may be exactly what I've been looking for--muted colors without being either too greyscale or blown out. I saw Symphony, but Hedgehog's work has always been too...over the top for my tastes. I don't use Scripted Lighting, either, but I do use TLM.

      Unfortunately those palettes will not work with the ENBPalette.fx shader. MGE XE is not compatible with anything from the ENB series or palettes used with ENBs. That is the reason why I am sharing my palettes. After 2 years I only found 3 or 4 working palettes and so 3 months ago when I returned to Morrowind I started to create my own.

      My Purple HaZe is still my fave but I think users will really enjoy the Colour Mood Palette. I have not released any pics of it yet but here is a little preview... click on them to enlarge.

      How is MGE XE not compatible with palettes used with ENBs?

      @tech
      They don't work. The programs and code are not the same. They don't look good. I have tried all my skyrim and fallout new vegas palettes and they looked crap. The reason is because MGE XE and the ENBPalette.fx shader is processing it differently. MGE and mgeXE and ENB are all different programs and their shaders and palettes are not interchangeable. It is just like these palettes won't look good in FV, Skyrim, Oblivion or even in MGE. Think of it like this, a DOS program will not run on Linux or an apple program may not work on Windows.

      *EDIT: A better example would be that if you processed something with GIMP sometimes when you load it in Photoshop certain aspects will be ignored. Certain GIMP scripted functions just don't look good in PSD format. The truth is that you can't even use a MGE shader in MGE XE.

      @Zaarin2
      Zaarin2, what you are seeing is only 25% of what this palette can do.

      Last sneak peek before the release because I like you

      That is so surreal! I don't think it will be my next playthrough because I'm definitely shooting for a very somber tone for my next playthrough, but I'm totally going to have to give this palette a shot at some point.

      Thank you Sonja. I have been working on these palettes for 3 months. This palette and the others will soon be added to my, "Purple HaZe MGE XE Palette Collection" http://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/44223/?
      as an optional download.
      Full instructions are in the read me.

      Hmmm.. I may have to create an alternate install just to check these out ingame! (I'm pretty sure they'd conflict with MGSO, but backing up my directory is all I need to do )

      No not at all. This installation is using MGSO 3.0 but I have heavily modified it of course. You shouldn't have any problems. Full instructions are in the Read Me.
