Morrowind

Morrowind Rebirth is a huge modification and will not work well with a lot of other mods, especially mods that make changes to the landscape or add new buildings.

Not compatible with:

  •     Mods that alter the landscape in any way. Conflicting landscape edits will cause major issues where buildings or other static objects become submerged and can't be viewed or accessed as intended.
  •     Mods that alter meshes such as trees and rocks. Morrowind Rebirth was built with a specific set of tree/rock meshes and will not work well with other tree/rock replacers.
  •     Mods that add new buildings, such as house mods. Same issue as above.

Compatible with:

  •     Mods that alter stats (value, weight, weapon speed etc) will conflict, but are not necessarily incompatible with MR. Adjust your loadorder if you want to use another balance mod (such as BTB's).
  •     Mods that add new weapons/armor/creatures, but you need to use an external program like TESTool, Wyre Mash or TES3cmd to merge leveled lists.
  •     Mods that add new features through scripting (especially using lua scripting).
  •     Mods that replaces textures.
  •     Mods that add new dialogue.

Known incompatibilities:

  • Morrowind Optimization Patch - Parts that don't conflict with Rebirth are already included, BUT Morrowind Optimization Patch updates are generally more frequent than Rebirth updates. Thus it might be worth installing a recent update on top of a Rebirth install. Just make sure you don't OVERWRITE any files.
  •  Project Atlas – This mod can be used alongside Rebirth, but as with Morrowind Optimization Patch please don't OVERWRITE any files.
  • Poorly Placed Objects - This mod conflicts with the landscape changes in Rebirth.
  • Patch for Purists - Please use the "Morrowind Patch Project [For Rebirth]" included in the Rebirth download instead. It's a custom patch made specificly for Rebirth, including more fixes than the original patch and without any conflicting edits.
  • Widows Glow + addons - This mod conflicts with the landscape changes in Rebirth. I suggest you use "Glow in the Dahrk" for better compatibility.
  • Texture Fix - This mod onflicts with the landscape changes in Rebirth.
  • Delayed DB Attack V2 - You don't need this mod due to the fact that Rebirth already delays Dark Brotherhood assassins.
  • Correct UV Rocks - Rebirth doesn't use original rocks, thus this is unecessary.
  • Better Meshes plus Optimization - Parts of this mod are already included in Rebirth.
  • Improved Meshes Optimized - Parts of this mod are already included in Rebirth.
  • Correct Meshes - Parts of this mod are already included in Rebirth.
  • Modpacks and guides like Morrowind Enhanced Overhaul and Morrowind Graphics Guide should not be used alongside Rebirth, unless you are a highly skilled modder.
