I made a fixed package for this mod because I love it and I was sad I couldn't use it. So with no prior modding experience whatsoever I decided I would, uh....try to fix it lol. I'm not making a mod page for this because I can't be bothered and I'm not sure whether the author would like that despite his last active time being April of last year. Of course, all credit for everything in this mod goes to fabaji (original author), and if you ever read this fabaji, I hope your doing well right now. You and your group make some pretty neat stuff.
The armor replaced is still brigade The charge blade replace is still dante's devil cb The Long Sword replaced is now the Supremacy blade (sorry lol)
Something to note: All the original efx's are gone. I had to recreate nearly all of them because there is pretty much no way to salvage or even reasonably interpret the originals since the hex template crashes the hex editor trying to load itself on the originals. They're not perfectly true to the original, but pretty damn close in my opinion. Some things were just entirely out of my league to recreate like swapping file pathing because the way the efx file is read is dependent on a couple values that are meant to change when the physical content present changes in size at all (which I have no clue how to operate), and messing this up makes your game crash on startup.
a big thanks to the modding discord for the ludicrous amount of information they have stockpiled + the modding wiki, wouldn't have been able to do it without them
also I used this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/monsterhunterworld/mods/3384 by Rakioth as a base for one of the efx's, credit where credit is due
New update: v1.02. Pretty sure I fixed the hair physics not working, not sure how though lol
Thanks so much for this and for all your hard work! I literally just started trying mods for MHW because I beat Fatalis and wanted to enjoy the game some more. For anyone who asks, this works just as he described. Currently farming for the brigade set, but using the Pyra mod with the pneuma wings/Charge blade for now.
Since I am a foreigner, there was an error in the translation.There is Iceborn.The error has been resolved.The game was turned off in certain map, not in the weapon storage.
Do I need to Use the original mod with this one? Sorry im pretty new to using mods in world and I would like to confirm If I am doing it right. also When I use original mod My game wont start up and I get a black screen. is there some sort of video I could watch to see what I can do to fix this?
A pretty deadly bug has been found. When using C.B, the game is forced to shut down. I don't know how to call this in foreign countries, but at least to explain as much as I can, I expect a clash of visual effects when you strengthen your sword with your hand shield strengthened. I solved this by erasing the wp_09_080.efx file, but I'm explaining it because it doesn't seem to be an appropriate method.
do u or anyone know whether its possible to delete the files responsible for the wings when sheathed in order to get a normal sheathe (or if it would just make the weapon disappear since it doesnt have files for a sheathed animation, i dont really care) or whether that would just make the mod not work? incase it is possible, what are the files i would need to delete?
Thank you so much for making this mod Iceborne compatible. I have however found an issue with your efx files. As of now it is 2/11/2024 and I have just noticed this weird issue today. I have already gone through the troubleshooting so you don't have to. It's specifically with wp09_030.efx. (The one that makes the explosions from the SAED look green. It instantly crashes my game when you perform the SAED in the Hoarfrost Reach. I am not sure what causes the issue. By removing this file from the wp09 folder however, it fixes the issue. (Although the explosions from the SAED are no longer green.) Could anyone please confirm if they have this issue as well? Thanks in advance.
Can confirm that you can use the method luminoray posted in Nia's armor mod for this as well - use Hyperthermia to convert, select best match for EVHL - copy paste it into your MHW's nativepc (if it shows both Pneuma and the player's head in-game, it's working) - use the m_helm018_0000.evhl file from this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/monsterhunterworld/mods/1975 , rename it to f_helm036_0000.evhl and use it to replace the same file in the helm folder for the folder you converted earlier
actually tried it but thats say "an inccorect value are on this save, back to main screen" so thats doesnt work anymore, or maybe i did something wrong
I don't think so. The cause of incorrect value error is due to file in "common" folder. I have try to do as u said it did work but I don't know why my character always flying out of screen whenever I try to use this skin.
do you have a link to where you got it? Seriously why say you have an update and not post a link just to troll the rest of us. If the author doesnt like it he can just delete it.
