The MXAO effects are broken. It needs a rework. I would recommend using Final Form Reshade, it seems to be very vanilla reshade that does something like this mod.
You can still get MXAO to work if you use the one from Marty's iMMerse set. It has far fewer tweaking options than the one this preset uses but if you copy whatever settings you can into that one, it's mostly the same. Someone more experienced with it can probably come up with the exact adjustments required.
Thank you that worked ! Only other step I had to use was when installing Reshade was I checked all shaders. If the shader preset you use doesn't use them then it doesn't matter anyway they don't affect anything.
Where exactly do I paste the extracted file when it says "the root of MonsterHunterWorld?" I just want to make sure I'm putting it where it's suppose to be.
its a reshade preset so yes. its compatible. google reshade and you will find a whole new world of graphical options. some make things look better, others make things look retro, etc. its all up to you.
