Short Introduction:

With the recent announcement of Monster Hunter: Wilds, I got hyped and inspired to create this little mod. Seeing that MH:Wilds will be releasing 2025, that is still a very long wait for us hunters and MHW:Iceborne can only stay exciting for so long until fatique starts to settle in. With that being said, I made something to spice things up a bit in the gameplay department. I hope you will enjoy and spread the mod if you really enjoyed it.

Health and Stamina:

Health and stamina has been tweaked to have a starting value of 100 and a cap at 200.

The "Health Boost" skill has been removed, giving hunters slightly more build freedom.

Canteen ingredients will now further boost the amount of starting health and stamina you will have at the start of a hunt.

Although you may have more stamina, the consumption rate and drain rate has increased, this makes stamina usage attacks less spammable and encourages better stamina control and stamina skill usage.

The stamina cap will now slowly drain over time instead of draining x amount in a certain period of time.

Decorations:

New decorations have been added ranging from Jewel Level 1 up to Jewel Level 4 decos.

The jewel system now works according to points for example:

Jewel 1 = 1 point    /Jewel 2 = 2 points   /Jewel 3 = 3 points/Jewel 4 = 4 points

Fire resistance lv.1 = 1 point/Fire resistance lv.2 = 2 points/Fire resistance lv.3 = 3 points      /
       /Critical boost lv1 = 2 points   //Critical boost lv2 = 4 points

The new skills have also been added to the deco drop pool with reasonable drop rates %.

Some skills that were deemed "essential" has been slightly nerfed to encourage alternative skill options.

Skills that were deemed "pointless" have received some slight buffs to increase their usefullness.

Armor and Weapons:

With the release of Fatalis, Capcom essentially butchered their game design by making the Fatalis armor and weapons overpowered. This discourages the whole mix and match set building that the monster hunter games are known for...I took it upon myself to rebalance the all the weapons and armor as follows:

Fatalis armor no longer gives additional health and stamina at Transendance set skill. Also reduce the amount of deco slots the armor has.

All armor pieces have been tweaked to give the appropriate amount of slots for the absence of certian skills in the beta sets. Some skills have been switched and matched to encourage more build variety and mix set building.

All weapons in the game have been tweaked, especially Gunlance due to its poor treatment from Capcom.
All weapons no longer have slots, since slots heavily dictated which weapons would be more viable. Slots can still be obtained via the augment system. Hunters will now pick weapons based on sharpness/affinity and raw damage, keep in mind that with the new deco variety, weapons with low sharpness will also be viable.

Gunlance has received better shelling levels according to weapon rarity.

Last but not least! All weapons now have slightly increased range and with no hitlag present, making gameplay feel a bit smoother.

Augmentation:

Augments now cost 1 slot to add and 1 slot to upgrade. All augments beside "health regen" and "slot increase" have been buffed according to weapon tweaks that were made. Health regen has received a nerf but will now properly regen health with ranged weapons such as bow.

Charms:

Charms that only go up to 3 levels or consist of 5 level 1 skills, will now receive a deco slot to even the odds against other more potent charms. Making charm variety much more viable.

Items and Materials:

Some item durations such as pills and powders have received buffed durations along with cool drink and hot drink which lasts pretty much a whole hunt.

Most importantly! All materials and items in the game have reduced rarity, making it now possible to "give" any item that you have stored in your item pouch during hunts or in hubs. Requires 1 hunter to be in the same hub or map as you in order to "give" the item. The variety of items you can give range from gems to mantles, great spiritvein gems etc. This will encourage hunters to slay the monster rather than capture, as for 3 other hunters have a carve chance to get a gem or mantle and "give" it away to the host if they are desperately farming for it.

Conclusion:

Should you download this mod? Probably won't hurt to try :) Feel free to give me any feedback wether it is good or bad it does not bother me. Have fun!
