Changelogs
Version 1.1
Added additional file cm_bombhit_002 to make the effect reduction more aggressive than previously on top of minor tweaks to the original files.
Included are options for reductions down to 75%, 50% and 30% of vanilla, as well as the option to remove the effects altogether.
The file cm_bomb_000 controls explosions from normal and fullburst shelling. The file gm018_050_10 controls explosions from charged shelling, the Wyrmstake Cannon explosion, and Wyvern's Fire. The file cm_bombhit_002 controls the hit effects when any shelling attack is landed on a target.
Special thanks to UNOWEN-OwO for the 010 hex editor template used to directly edit the efx files. Also to MUQEx and AsteriskAmpsand for their contributions in the NO EFX mod and EPV Editor (Nebula Asterism) tools respectively I used to single out the efx files.
Install by dragging the files into your "nativePC" folder in your MHW directory at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Monster Hunter World. Be sure to have the listed prerequisite mods installed beforehand.
