About this mod

Unmodded save file right after Xeno'jiiva/end credits. Please follow the instructions below to link it to your own Steam account.

Permissions and credits
Changelogs
This is primarily meant for those who played the PS4/Xbox version and want to play on the PC without having to sit through dozens of hours of handler cutscenes or those who lost/broke their original save files. This doesn't come with any DLCs, so if you pre-ordered the game or bought any DLCs, make sure to talk to the housekeeper to claim your items.

Notes:

  • This save comes with very few achievements and most optional quests that didn't unlock a unique item haven't been completed yet. If you'd prefer to use a save with 100% completion, please use AsteriskAmpersand's save file instead
  • If you need any gear from previous event quests, you could use one of the event quest mods or the shop mod

Instructions:

  • Place the two save files in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\<user ID>\582010\remote (assuming that you installed Steam to its default directory)
  • Locate your Steam ID using this website -- paste the link to your Steam profile in the search bar and copy the 17-digit number in the steamID64 field
  • Download AsteriskAmpersand's save editor
  • Launch the save editor and open the SAVEDATA1000 file with it. Double click on the Steam ID field in the General tab and paste your ID from step 2
  • Go to the Information tab and rename your hunter and Palico
  • Save your new file and make sure that it's in the right location (see step 1)
  • Use the free character edit voucher DLC to change your character's appearance/gender (this save uses the default options for both the hunter and the Palico). Once Iceborne is released, you'll be able to change your Palico's appearance with the new free edit voucher DLC
  • If you've purchased any DLC other than the edit voucher, make sure to check that they're all enabled before opening the game
