We have added a poll in twitter to address the blast blanket issue.
The issue being the blast blanket is intended to work as a punisher for people that are far away from crimson, since the fight is intended to reward close-combat playing. What this poll addresses is the fact that we can do a really quick job to make the attack a bit less spammy, and also for it to not proc if you're really close to the monster when it is in 4 legs, so that if it crawls back, its because you're actually further from it, and not just for a quick cheap punish that crimson itself created.
The thing is, if we do it now, we are only going to address that fact, but if we do it when the Resurgence Pack releases, we'll look into more potential issues that may appear in the timeframe until we release it. If you want to vote on the poll, you can do it here:
The cat can mess up the targeting for the lava puddles and make them more spammy as Crimson tries to trap the cat and is unable, evade extender also is a really usefull to get out of the puddles, or evade window to roll throw the dust that causes them.
Use heatguard if you have trouble, it makes a huge difference, specially with the Heatwave.
A lot of the attacks got extra i frames, this means they are easyer to roll throw than normal Fatalis, outside that every attack is I frameable except the Heatwave which has a special mechanic related to it addressed above and with more detail at the mods description.
I installed it, I see the superimposed armor and everything, but the missions don't appear, we downloaded it with a friend to play it, but I can't get it to work, I followed the installation steps as is, any ideas? I need to have something specific unlock? i just have 6 missions in m6 till now srry for my english
hey got a problem with the crimson and white fatalis where the alatreon and fatalis weapon are unavaible to use like there is nothing and i'm wondering how to fix that but great mod
The puddle attack might be the stupidest most unbalanced attack ever.
The fact that he can even get you with that attack while being airborne is ridiculous.
All the other attacks are fine, but when you get grabbed by that attack and your character start walking towards it, feels very unresponsive, unbalanced and overall, crappy.
This mod is very powerful. It restores the true power of Crimson Fatalis. And the explosive blanket will automatically locate the player and stick to it. I think this design really needs to be considered. In comparison, I think the difficulty of White Fatalis is too easy. Slow movement speed may be his characteristic, but I think lightning attack can be designed to be more difficult. White Fatalis has a higher ecological niche than Crimson Fatalis. In theory, White Fatalis should be as difficult as Crimson Fatalis, or even surpass Crimson Fatalis. Hope to see a special individual of Crimson Fatalis: Red Flame Fatalis in the future.
Appreciate the work and effort put into the mod, but really, whos game design decision was it to bring back that mud/puddle mechanic. I personally thought that the creators as people who played World knew that mechanic is utter s#*!, even worse it pulls you into the center so at times you can feel your character is unresponsive which is never fun design ever. The, what seems like random, AI coupled with the fact with if you get unlucky enough to have some sort of distance between Crimson Fatalis and yourself, he can literally spam the mud s#*! move multiple times back to back, it makes the fight unenjoyable.
