Edit: would you consider adding the Lance EFX as separate in the future? the purple glow is sick and not a lot purple efx as this one around, I tried today to understand how to edit efx files, But I couldn't find a way to pinpoint The hex code, like I'm not able to tell what I need to find in order to switch when using a Hex editor.
I'm actually not an efx person myself, I offload that work onto a fellow modder by the name of Crimson. I believe there is a tool out there on nexus to change efx colors so you dont have to do hex editing. I havent tried it before.

Recently got back into the game I wanted to ask for your help with a small problem: as soon as I move into snowy terrain, my character immediately gets covered in snow from top to bottom and the texture looks quite... crusty on Jeanne. Only the fabric of the outfit gets covered.
I'm using version B, replacing Ciri. I know there is a "disable snow" texture included in the mod, so I assume this shouldn't be happening?
Edit: oh and to be clear, this was happening before the updates as well.
Working as intended, that's just how snow works. The snow_disable is so the skin and hair materials don't get covered in snow like the real character. I can't use the skin material on her or it'll copy the player skin tone lol
If you're familiar with the mrl3 editor, yeah. It's as simple as swapping the texture path on the "tAlbedoBlendMap" Resource Binding, that's all. You may need to add the texture path to the Resources list on the left (Right click > New > Fill in the path) if it doesn't exist like on the body mrl3.
pl\jalter_textures\jalter_snow_disable_CMM for disable texture path.
There's also snow details down in the parameter fields but I didn't play with those so much. Feel free to if you feel like it.
I do know how to use the editor a little bit but it took me a few minutes to realize I had to do this for each of the "uber" materials. Whoops. Got it to work though!
I just wanted to say I enjoy a lot of your mods and appreciate the support you still provide such a long time after release.
I can be a bit spotty but I still watch what's going on. I've been prepping my steam deck with windows and my work environment so I can mod in the future as a long-haul trucker lol
This mod is amazing, i just have a question: If my friend wants to see me with the mod, do they have to install it too, can they see me using it or will they just see me using ciri+rajang IG even with the mod installed on their end
The files are only on your computer, they're not on theirs and they're not being uploaded to a server. They need to install the mod as well to see you with it.
