This mod is up-to-date as of v15.11.00

I personally find the drop rate of rare decos in this game too low to be fun, after grinding for weeks you're still very unlikely to get the ones you need and your chest becomes stuffed with garbage. You melt them only to get more garbage, which is a very frustrating endgame experience. Also, 'rarity' of an item does not reflect its drop rate, which almost feels like being lied to. Therefore, I made this mod for those who want to grind for deco's instead of directly buying them off the shop using shop mods, but also want to get their deco's before they reach MR999.

Changes to the system:
  • Deco's drop rates now strictly follow their rarity level. That is, all deco's of the same rarity have the same drop rate. I always thought that since there are 22 deco's of rarity 7, you should expect to see one attack jewel in every 22 rare-7 deco's - that's entirely untrue. Actually, the 22 rare-7 deco's have different weights in the lottery, and you should expect to see one attack jewel in every 60 rare-7 deco's without this mod. Now with the mod, they all have equal weights.
  • You no longer get a ton of crap from high-level feystones. See the table below for the awards for each Feystone type. (Bluer means higher chance, white means 0 chance. )

Note: I intentionally hid the numbers from the graph, because knowing the exact numbers ruins the fun. Of course, you can see the actual numbers if you open up the .diot file with any editor, but I strongly recommend not doing that.

As you can see from the graph, you are now guaranteed a rare-7 jewel when you receive a warped feystone, and you are guaranteed a rare-11 jewel with a sealed feystone. This way, the color of the feystone becomes very indicative of the quality of the reward you are going to receive. Mysterious, Glowing feystones and Steel, Silver Melding feystones are still going to mostly give you crap - because they can be acquired without much effort. On a side note: Ancient feystone and Steel Melding feystone occasionally give you rare-7 and rare-8 jewels, but no rare-6 jewels, just so you can finish your collection of base-game jewels when you've entered Iceborne for a little while.

Still, there are 102 different rare-11 decos, and 18 different rare-12 decos. The chance of getting the ones you want in a short period of time is incredibly low even with this mod. But now it's a much more feasible task. You should be less than MR200 when you've got all jewels you want, and you won't be frustrated by a Satiated Jewel 1 in your Sealed Feystone anymore.

Happy hunting!
