About this mod

Combined & updated several older CQ mods. Lowered damage output to sane level, made head easier to break, extended timer to 50 min.

I'm a 4000-hour series veteran and even I think World Fatalis is just CHEAP, not "hard."

Most of the uproar over Fatalis has quieted in recent weeks. Yet some of us still struggle with Fatalis.

There is a very fine line between "hard" and "cheap."

Capcom made great strides in removing layer upon layer of artificial difficulty from the transition to Gen 5. Old gen moveset clunkiness, questionable hitboxes, and near-instantaneous moves all went by the wayside.

Then players responded in that World was "too easy."

Capcom, however, does not seem to know how to add real difficulty beyond merely turning up the damage and turning up monster health. Which is how you get an entry-level G rank monster in IB having base HP nearly as high or higher than a G rank elder dragon in GenU.

Fatalis is no different. Short quest timer without the option to repel and fight him again at reduced HP, unlike Gen 1-2 where the damage was cumulative between repels and failed attempts. Typical bloated HP values commonplace to IB as a half-assed attempt to balance out the huge array of offensive skills hunters have. Damage output so extreme that fully augmented and upgraded armor still gets instakilled.

Oh, and he moves his head around much more than before, yet you need to somehow break the head twice before phase 3 if you don't want to be oneshotted by every single twitch he makes. We don't have armor skills to stop oneshots repeatedly like Frontier did with Guts+3.

Hence, I looked through older mods pertaining to Fatalis, and updated a couple older Custom Quests. These being "Clearable Fatalis" and "Fatalis in 50 min" by their respective authors.

All I did was merge those two together in an MR 6* quest, plus making the head much easier to break.
