After my Monster 3 Star Elemental Weakness Indicator mod (which was text based), I noticed cube3x3 had the great idea of including them in the icon instead.
I ended up reworking a version of my own that wasn't pixelated and that also features status ailments as requested by another user on my original mods (which I couldn't fit at the time).
These icons use the true weaknesses, not the simplified ones from the monster guide, they're broken down extremely well here: https://hunters-guide.herokuapp.com/
Also used this image for reference.
I've indicated swapping weaknesses by an orange aura, or in the case of Xeno'jiva and Vaal Hazak, after its parts are broken.
You'll also find a version that only displays elemental weaknesses if you don't need the status ailments.
If you have any suggested improvements, please feel free to make a post or send me a message!
Installation:
Simply copy the nativePC folder into your MHW folder: steamapps\common\Monster Hunter World\nativePC\
Uninstallation:
Simply delete the cmn_micon00_ID.tex and cmn_micon00M_ID.tex files from the text\steam folder located in: steamapps\common\Monster Hunter World\nativePC\ui\common\tex
