This mod was commisioned by Mlam.

This mod brings bulldrome, a large monster and bullfangos from the older games, which are quite notorious for messing with hunters. Bulldrome are Fanged Beasts first seen in Monster Hunter 2, they resemble a giant boar with tusks that are half his body size and have brown fur. They charge down hunters and monsters alike.


Bulldrome has equal hitzones across the body as we thought fighting him with the small guys was punishment enough to not have to force the use of the claw. Also, pretty much every element works except ice, as it is a monster that lives in cold areas, flash pods, dung pods ,sleep and paralysis work , but not traps as hes still based on Kirin and if you capture him it shows up as if you had captured a Kirin.

Why they arrived to the new world (made up lore for fun, skip if not intrested):

Bullfango meat is a delicacy for hunters and so, the meowscular chef wanted to import the meat for the next festival. Due to a misunderstanding though, the cargo from Yukumo ended up being a herd of live bullfango and a bulldrome which escaped into the ancient forest. These bullfangos are quite young and skittish, so they tend to stick way closer to bulldrome than their old world cousins.



Some technical things:

Bulldrome may look like something that was simple to make, but it is entirely unique in the game, since it doesn't replace any monster and also it has his own custom skeleton and animations. For this reason, it needs strackers loader to function in every way, and there will never be a full monster replace version. In the other hand, it uses kirin's slot as we had to use a monster to place him and use some bases to edit. For that reason, if you pick the monster only version, his name, icon and a few sounds will remain as kirin's.

Bullfangos replace mosswines everything except behavior and model, they are the same. Because of this, they do not cause problems if you use this mod online. The only issue is that if you are hosting, mosswines will be agresive towards every player, and if you are not, they will act as passive bullfangos. We wanted the bullfangos to be unique as well, but due to a bug with the loader its not curently possible until this issue is fixed in a future strackers loader update.



Playable content:

Furniture: A bulldrome figure that replaces Great Jagras free downloadable figure.
Armor: Custom bulldrome layered armor replaces the diver layered armor.
Weapons: Layered bulldrome weapons replace either a rathalos or anjananth weapon, as they were the less unique models I could find. The only exeptions are bow (diablos) and HH (rathian),
as both anjananth and rathalos didn't have a unique model at these weapon classes.

Quests:
- MR1 "A Forest Fracas": It's the regularly leveled quest. (MR1 or higher to enter).
- MR6 "The King of the Fangos": It's a more challenging quest for those who want a bit more bullfango in their lives.



Installation:

After you choose your version put the nativePC folder at your exe location usually at C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Monster Hunter World
