No video tutorial. I'm to busy/lazy for that. Anyone if free to do so and post it here. I don't mind adding it to the video tab Just read the description of this/epv wiki: https://github.com/Ezekial711/MonsterHunterWorldModding/wiki/Editing-EPV-Files I don't want to baby people here so if you ask dumb questions I'll ignore you. I spent time writing up stuff for this, read it first I may do some more efx for the player. I have another idea for electricity
I looooove this mod! Took my a minute to figure out, but once you read all the listed documentation, it makes a lot of sense! I just wish I knew how to shrink the wings to be tiny and cute! The "Size" option in the program doesn't actually change anything for me. I did figure out how to make wings transparent with "Frequency" though.
I just want to thank the mod author for providing us with this great mod the customization this provides is insane. my only request is that more effects be added but this is still truly a great mod regardless
The epv3 file need to be in "nativePC\pl\[f_equip or m_equip]\[armor ID]\body\epv" folder and need to be named "f_body[armor ID 3 first number].epv3" like "f_body107.epv3" epv3 can be edit with Nebula Asterism - EPV Editor You can have 2 records max and in 1 record, you can have 4 efx max. Total of 8 efx. Choose well. In "EFX Paths" area, the path of efx you want "vfx\efx\local_body\[efx name]["EFX Slot" number]" like "vfx\efx\local_body\elecA1". Or if you want Black color, for only Black color because it don't appear if you use "EFX Slots" erea for this color, you need to use "vfx\efx\local_body\[efx name]Black" like "vfx\efx\local_body\elecABlack" "EFX Slot number" is in "EFX Slots" area and before the "Color" column, it's the "EFX Slot" column, not to be confused with the "EFX Slots" area. Almost the same name. This number is the link between the color and the efx. Don't forget to make saturation at 1.
List of efx can have Black color: elecA fireA particlesA eyetrailA firehornA haloA wingsA wingsB tailA
"EFX Slots" area | EFX Slot | Color | Alpha | Saturation | Size | Frequency | | 1 | Red | 255 | 1,000 | 0 | 1,000 | | 0 | White | 255 | 0,000 | 0 | 1,000 | | 0 | White | 255 | 0,000 | 0 | 1,000 | | 0 | White | 255 | 0,000 | 0 | 1,000 |
"EFX Paths" area vfx\efx\local_body\elecA1 vfx\efx\local_body\haloABlack
With this, I will have elec efx red and halo efx black.
Trick: Download one of epv3 file in "Optional Files" of this mod, almost everything is already configured, just need to change efx and color.
First step, in "EFX Slots" area, select your color, attribute the "EFX Slot" number and make saturation at 1. Second step, in "EFX paths" area, indicate the efx you want "vfx\efx\local_body\[efx name]" and add after it the "EFX Slot" number of the color you want like "vfx\efx\local_body\elecA1".
If you want to have fire efx or particles efx, and have the bottom of it on all body or other you want, you need to lower it or as you want. Same pratice if you want too change position of other efx. This will affect on all efx in the record selected. In "Record Properties" area, search line "position" and make the second value to -100 for have the bottom of it at the level of the feet, or other you want. The second value is for bring up or lower efx. For other value, I don't know which to make left/right or forward/move back.
i've been trying to use this mod for ages now, whatever i do, it never works, i really dont know what i'm doing wrong. i'm replacing the ''xx'' files with the armor ID i'm currently wearing, using full set as explained in the description, and yet, nothing happens, no EFXs appear, nothing...pls someone, if you have a bit of time to spare, explain to me how to use this awsome mod!!!
