About this mod

(OUTDATED MOD!)
i got sick and tired of farming the same monsters over and over again in an attempt to get those silly gold crown sizes for the achievements, SO! i edited some quests so the monsters in them are gold crown sized! easy gold crowns, while the monsters are still normal strength!

(OUTDATED MOD!)
quick heads up: i have been notified that these mods no longer work since some updates. i no longer play the game so i have no intention of updating it.
i'm lazy, so ill add a proper description later, but for now:

DUE TO MANY COMPLAINTS I DEDUCTED:
in the quest editor, i set the monster sizes for small to 80, and for large to 125 (default is 100)
you CANNOT set specific sizes for monsters in the editor, or i would have done so.
keep in mind: at the default size, it's possible for monsters to give gold crowns, and i tried to keep all monsters as close to normal sizes as possible, so that people wouldn't end up with obviously modded(cheated) sizes on their guild cards.
AS A RESULT:
when you do 1 of the quests, you might not end up with a gold crown on your first try, for example: the game intends to spawn a small monster for you, but you have the supersize pack installed, the size difference might cancel out the gold crown.
HOWEVER!
if this happens, try entering the same quest, and simply LOOK at the monster without hunting it, to see if it's larger/smaller, if you can't see a clear difference after 3 tries, post a comment about it and i will personally take a look at the quest, as it is possible i might have missed it while making the pack.
when you repeat the exact same step 82 times, you're bound to miss some things.

SECONDLY:
it seems that many people have issues with the Kushala Daora and the Teostra quests while using the Mini/Supersize Quest Packs.
the reason for this is that there's 2 versions of said quests, after playtesting, it seems that wich one becomes available changes randomly as you complete quests.
if Kushala/Teostra doesn't show up large/small in the Mini/Supersize quest packs, install the Elder Pack for the size you want, those have the both versions of those quests.

THIRD:
for some reason, the quest: The Eater of Elders, for Nergigante, is really weird and wonky, due to this i didn't include it in version 1.0 of the Elder Packs.
however, this quest IS included in version 1.1 of the Elder Packs, and is included in the Mini and Supersize Quest Packs. if you don't see the Raphinos image being displayed at this quest, then your game is not reading the edits for the quest, however, i have been informed that completing random quests might cause it to sometimes become active.
why and how, i have no idea, but if it works it works, when it doesn't it doesn't.

mini quest pack: need a gold crown for smallest size? pick this. it includes 1 quest for all monsters, the elder dragons too.
supersize quest pack: does the same as above, but makes the monsters large.
twin quest pack: instead of hunting 1 monster, you hunt 2 of them, 1 is large, 1 is small. does not include elder dragons.
NOTE!
in the twin quest pack, the target monsters will have 20% less health than default, but deal 10% MORE damage, i did this for quicker hunts, without making them much easier.
other stats have not been touched.

NOTE 2
none of the rewards for any of the quests have been altered, so you will not get more money, items, or HR points for completing said quests.

NOTE 3
you can only install 1 quest pack at a time, they edit the exact same quests, so only the last one you installed will work.
(however, you can install 1 of the 2 Elder Packs with the Twin Quest Pack as it doesn't include elder dragon quests of it's own.)

also, each quest pack has a README text doc that contains much more useful information than what is written here.
and if you want to know what quests are edited, the quest packs have a file listing exactly wich quests are edited, but i'm sure you don't want to back and forth between a txt doc and your game everytime you walk to the quest board, SO to each edited quest, i added a raphinos icon (one of those bird things you use to fly to quest area's) to each edited quest, so you don't need to alt-tab all the damn time.

how to install this stuff? read the README in the packs. if you've installed other mods before, these ones are installed the same way.

now, because i'm lazy and i have important things to do in real life (wow, the nerd has a life?!) ill end this temp description here.
