If you said, "the one that began with the letter 'n,'" you'd have fared about as well as Capcom when it came to deciding which level 7 tempered monster drop would be required for the health regeneration augment for level 12 weapons.

This is a simple fix that replaces the old required ingredient of Tempered Trancehides acquirable only from a Tempered Namielle to the Annihilating Temperhorn dropped by Tempered Ruiner Nergigante. 

Alongside being rather lore-friendly and consistent with in-game mechanics (even Nergigante/Ruiner Nergigante armor set bonuses give you health for attacking!), this serves as a bit of a quality of life tweak because Tempered Ruiner Nergigante can spawn in any level 7 region of the Guiding Lands versus Tempered Namielle's single level 7 coral region. Ruiner Nergigante still hits hard (really hard), so you still have to earn your health augments, but now you can do so without having to level up the coral region again.



To install, place the files in your nativePC folder.

If you are using the MHW Mod Manager by Boltman, simply drag and drop into the field and press "install."

If you are using Vortex, don't use Vortex.
