might be a tall order but can you do the opposite for the entirety of guiding lands? its the only area that looks better with fog imo, and turning volumetric lighting on everytime i go there is not super ideal. i dunno, might be a lot of work to just please one person, but doesnt hurt to ask i suppose.

The only person I know is capable of doing something like that is Daveurrr (https://www.nexusmods.com/monsterhunterworld/users/15997654) but i doubt he would do it for free so feel free to message him if you have the moneys.

thanks for the tip. alternatively, is there any way to mess with.. i dont know, some ini file or something to simply decrease the fog value from "volume rendering quality" so its not so strong? (but not completely gone). i have it a lowest but it's still quite heavy.

This is a great mod! Could you do that for the Rotten Area in GL aswell? They give me like 15 fps less whenever I look at them kek.

This is a good mod, but rotten valley is too dark without fog

so from what i can see by the files, is it possible to chose which areas still keep the fog and which dont? because i generally like the fog in the vale, theres just one specific area that gives me fps issues which is the one right outside vaal hazak's lair, the place where you can drop the hanging teeth. can i pick one file to remove the fog just there?

You can try but you will probably get visual problems if you try to dissect the mod into pieces.

Nice. I doubt it, but does this conflict in any way with the Guiding Lands no fog mod?

Thanks, no, it should not have any conflicts with the guiding lands fog removal mod.

Do you know if things like the Fog are what cause FPS lag in the guiding lands? Some areas I fight in (not just Vale) give me FPS loss, and I'm wondering if you know what effects could be causing it

Yes, fog in general causes lots of frame drops on potato PC's like mine so I guess it should be the same for everyone.
