IF DYE IS NOT WORKING AFTER CHANGING THE ARMOR ID, go to the folder you set it to at `...nativePC\pl\f_equip\pl###_0000\wst\mod`... - Rename "f_wst###_0000.mrl3" to something else like "f_wst###_0000_Original.mrl3". - Then rename "f_wst###_0000_Armor.mrl3" to "f_wst###_0000.mrl3" and reload the armor in game. It should work then. If it doesn't it might be related to the armor you chose. EVERY LAYERED ARMOR HANDLES DYE AND THEIR SLINGER DIFFERENTLY, TRY A MORE UNIQUE ARMOR SET IF POSSIBLE.
Just want to say thank you for creating this mod. I believe that this - as of this time - is the magnum opus of your character mod works. It works flawlessly and beautifully (I use the Ciri replacement, fyi).
I don't think I can ever get back to using the regular in-game model for avatar - if only for ONE reason: the original in-game mantles are aesthetically atrocious. There's no point of dressing my character in any cool looking layered armors if by the end of the day all of that will be just covered by those hideous mantles. There is no way to prevent it from showing aside from using mod, and the mod to hide mantle doesn't work well for me for some reasons. Your mod, does it much better. Maybe one day if I am no longer seeing the use of mantles...
This mod is incredible I really love it ! It worked fine for a while but I don't know why the mantles just started to glow for no particular reason... Is that what you ment by "appear funny" ? 1: Ensure the helmet is shown in gameplay settings. Assuming you are using the Layered Armor version, the helmet slot hides the player's head when enabled. Disabling the helmet allows player head (helmet slot) and Io's head (waist slot) to show at the same time.
OR
2: If you put this on a Layered Armor by changing the IDs, download the Layered Armor version. Do not change the ID of the main download.
