Description:
This mod completely rewrites the decoration drop tables. It changes the underlying philosophy of gem drops.

Basis:
Decorations are classified based on their use within meta sets, off-meta functional sets and experimental sets. Meta encompassing highest dps builds, off-meta functional encompassing variants of meta sets that are designed to add QoL elements to meta sets and experimental sets being sets used for testing the limit and capabilities of certain weapons (for example evasion on gunlance sets).

Single Decos are classified as: Trash, Rarely Useful, Situational, Good and Necessary. Necessary indicating decorations which alter a weapon playstyle to such degree that one is basically gated from play until one acquires the decoration in question (Mighty Bow for Bow for example).

Combo Decos are classified as: Trash, Situational, Good, Great, God Deco and Universally God Deco. Universal God Decos are decorations that more than 4 weapons would REALLY like, this includes decorations such as Handicraft+ and Challenger+ (Handicraft and Agitator respectively). Good decorations are mixed decos where both components are useful but not necessarily synergetic. Great decorations are decos were one component would be slotted in anyway even on a 4 slot if one didn't have a combo deco with it and the second is something useful. God Decos are decorations that make or break a build and in some cases are necessary for specific skill lineups.

Because of how the decoration system works this 11 groups are then distributed on 9 "bins". All decos in one group have the same weight on the same "bins".

Then the reward of the Feystones is also weighted over this 9 bins:

This ensues Sealed Feystones at worse give you something decent (and even then weighted VERY low) and have over 80% of giving you something very good. Carved similarly is also biased towards Good-Great Decos with a chance of amazing and a very low chance of useless trash. Even Ancients are biased away from Trash decos into the Situational/Good Category where even single deco chances for Good and Necessary decos are higher than that of Trash.

The complete drop rate for each type of gemstone can be seen here:

Balance:
Is this balanced? HELL NO! Decoration drop rates in Iceborne are absolutely horrid because of the amount of combo decorations, many which are utterly useless and only really kept because one half you'd slot it anyway or as melder fodder. The pool is ABSOLUTELY diluted with useless garbage and weights are nonsensical, this completely changes the pool in favour of the player. Unlike the previous mod which is a more balanced approach boosting some specific rates slightly but not making wide changes this is a complete rework of the system.
