About
Hello, this is another personal ReShade preset that I've made for myself but that I'm sharing with you now.
I didn't like how TAA made the game so blurry, so that's the first thing I "fixed" with LumaSharpen and I'd say it looks pretty good.
Next up, I checked and thought I could make the colors a bit less washed out.
This comes with HDR and some more saturation and a few other things.

Here's what I mean with the blur:

Tweaking
- Vibrance: This just saturates colors a bit. I didn't fry the colors to the point where you see artifacting, just a bit of saturation. Recommended to leave it turned on(?)
- HDR: Well, HDR pretty much. It just makes the game not bleak and washed out, I guess. Recommended to leave it turned on.
- LumaSharpen: The main thing. This makes things not blurry. Recommended to leave turned on. Even if you don't use TAA. Gives lots of details.
- AmbientLight: This is what gives the "lighting." It's kinda bright in grass areas where the grass shines but I like that. If it's too much, you can turn it off but it's a main feature from this. If you don't want the Dirt Effect on the camera in bright places, you can disable AI_Dirt in the AmbientLight.FX settings in the overlay.
OR get the Lite version. It still has AmbientLight but it's toned down quite a lot and makes the game almost crystal clear with the settings I've done.
- Border/Letterbox: You can enable this in the overlay to take screenshots after disabling your HUD for example. Not recommended for gameplay.

You can open the overlay and uncheck/check boxes to disble/enable some effects from the Preset. I don't recommend you change the order of them though. I'd say those are set up just fine.
(If you drag and drop effects in the overlay, you can change the order of them but it does matter and can make a visual difference.)

Installation
Basic ReShade installation.
1. Download ReShade from here: https://reshade.me/
2. Run the installer
3. Browse to MonsterHunterWorld.exe
4. Pick Direct3D 10/11/12
5. Say Yes to the Collection of Standard Effects
6. Leave all of them selected and hit OK
7. Drag the preset to where MonsterHunterWorld.exe is
8. Now in-game, press Pos1/Home on your keyboard to open the overlay
9. Run through the tutorial and pick the preset
10. Done and you can play!

Compatibility
This is pretty much compatible with anything unless if you have some other .DLL files installed that do graphics stuff, perhaps. I don't know how Special K handles ReShade but it worked for Nier:Automata, so there we go.

Bans
Can this get me banned? Nah, I don't think so. I've done research and plenty of people have been using ReShade since the release date and haven't had any issues.
Even FromSoftware didn't say anything about me using ReShade for years in Dark Souls III. It'll be fine.

Notes
- I'll eventually upload some screenshots with my graphics settings
- Keep in mind that I've got different monitor settings, so, calibrating your display is a thing I'd highly recommend. Adjust the gamma (overall a nicer experience while using your PC)
- I don't use the HD Texture Pack since it's way too big in file size. My drive is gonna screech if I do.

This is off-topic:
- High CPU Usage in MHW: Maybe a "fix" for you too; I'm still/was affected by high CPU usage. I'm on an 8600k.
A thing I've noticed is that when you use DX12 however, CPU usage is down to about 30%. Atleast on my end. I remember being maxed out in Astera.
When I switched to DX12, it went down to 65%ish.

And another thing what I've noticed is that when you're playing for a bit, after a while, it also decreases your usage for whatever reason.
Just saying in case you're having issues.
