    UPDATE:
If you already downloaded any main blood efx, any critical hits, or element remove you don't need to again
Weakspots and non-weakspots efx packs are separated
An update to remove the shiny scales from the non-weakspots hits is in the optional files
Fixed the elemental 50% (5th gif day efx) and 30% (same gif night efx)
Condensed the downloads so you just have to grab the pack you want and the brightness options are inside of that
Same goes for critical and elemental efx

Another mod that is in desperate need of descriptive images/videos/gifs explaining each and every one of the features. What does just mist look like? Splatter? Mix? How do they all compare? How about the differences between bright medium and dark? What the heck is "chunky weakspots"? Why does "critical hits" have "XXcritred", "XXcrit", and "redcrit" in them? What does that even mean? What does the "30%" and "50%" choices in the "element" choices? You can't give so many choices and not show what the heck they all mean.

Where? What manual explains all of these choices? Cause it's not in the download, and it's not on the description.

      Quote from the description:
List of all Monster damage efx and what they do so you can customize all the damage to your preference on the wiki here:
      https://github.com/Ezekial711/MonsterHunterWorldModding/wiki/EFX-Listing

You can see what every option does by checking the github, the filenames in the mod archives and the gifs previews in the mod page.

A CTRL+F search doesn't show any description as to what XXcritred, xxcrit, or redcrit means. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Downloading this manually only gives the Blood.RAR files it doesn't give the full NativePC file for some reason.

In order to properly extract the files with 7zip, extract the downloaded file. you will be left with 3 more rar files, which you can then use 7zip to open archive, then extract those files.

Is there any way to use any of these blood efx packs to replace non-weak spot hit effects? Tired of looking at dirt when I hit monsters.

Yes there is, that's what I did.

You are given the option to replace both weakspot and non-weakspot effects and replace them with blood.

EDIT: In order to have both WS (Weakspot) and NWS (Non-weakspot) effects to both be blood, you need two files, one ending with 0, and one ending with 1.

Here is how mine look: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/670190711269883910/709646896582361128/unknown.png

I recommend using different shades for both so you can differentiate between WS and NWS.

Been trying to get this mod to work without luck. Tried using Vortex and manual installs, downloading and extracting one of the files, going into e.g. bloodmixmedium, grabbing the nativePC folder and pasting it into my MHW:IB directory, doesn't seem to work.

I want to get rid of the dust hit effect and have some blood hit efx, any suggestions?

It always worked for me, and I have been using this mod probably since it first came out.

Do you have Stracker's Loader? Even though it's not needed for most mods anymore, some still require it. That could be it. Also get Performance Booster and Plugin Extender along the way for good measure.

Yea it seems easy to install, which is why I'm puzzled. I have Stracker's and the Performance Booster already, but ty for the advice.

EDIT: https://www.nexusmods.com/monsterhunterworld/mods/3964 also does not seem to work, so I'm guessing there's something I must be doing wrong.

I downloaded mod manager and tried both mods, still nothing.

EDIT: Fixed it, I'm using ICE so mods go in ntPC, not nativePC. Welp.

Could someone give me a hand with this please? I'm a little confused by the provided instructions on how to install it.

To unzip the file you'll need to get either Winrar or 7zip, I use 7zip. With 7zip you can just entire the zipped file and extract a specific file or folder within the main zipped file or folder. Then you want to place what you extracted into a folder that is in the main location of your Monster Hunter Application itself, example it would look like this. ( Steam > steamapps > common > Monster Hunter World )

The folder you would place it into if you don't have it just make it and title it exactly like this "nativePC" without the quotation marks. Then you should be all good. If you want to uninstall the mod simply just delete the respected files from the nativePC folder.

Does this mod still work today?
I used Vortex to install it, but no way to make it work.
Stracker's loader is also installed, please help.

Consider not using Vortex, it messes up things for no apparent reason. Install manually or via MHW Mod Manager.

About the mod working: It works. I have been using it for a very long time, and it never broke. For example, I saw the bloodied broken horns of Alatreon today.

I've manually installed the mod, installed it through the MHW Mod Manager, and through Vortex. Can never get the mod to work. I have no idea what the issue is.

Edit: I have fixed the issue.

I used this mod throughout most of my MHW playtime, it's really good and well-made. But I was wondering if it'd be possible to make something similar for Rise. The blood effects there are better than vanilla World, in my opinion, but it still lacks the satisfaction that this mod gives.

I use Mix Bright. It's the one I like the most.
