Have "Stracker's Loader" updated, for this is mandatory for most mods. Stracker's Loader goes into the game's main folder (where the MonsterHunterWorld.exe is, not into nativePC). When a title update breaks his loader, just wait patiently for Stracker to update. Also check out "NativePC Enabler" which allows an outdated version of "Stracker's Loader" to continue working for most mods while you wait.
For manual installation of this music mod, extract into your game's directory (where the MonsterHunterWorld.exe is) so in the end it looks like: Monster Hunter World\nativePC\sound\wwise\Windows You can find your directory by right clicking the game in your steam library > properties > local files > browse local files These folders ARE case-sensitive in the Iceborne update so please make sure they are named correctly if the mod doesn't work for you. This type of mod tends to have no conflicts with other mods, so if something doesn't work, read the instructions again.
For audio modding questions, please check out the MHW Modding Discord's audio-help channel, read the rules https://discord.gg/gJwMdhK If you have something really important or interesting to note you can message me on Discord at BeesKneesMan#1446 through a DM. Like always thank you for the support and I hope you continue enjoying the mod!
Endorsing this 100% as it's a fantastic addition and many of the tracks fit the monsters quite well.
Only issue I have with it, is 2B and Pod's voice lines at the start of a hunt. The music is an awesome addition but the lines feel out of place. Either way, thanks for the mod, appreciate it.
Awesome mods i was wondering if someone make mod music Nier to MHW and found this, this is great but can i have a request please i just want Tales Spun through replace with Kaine theme nothing else. keep the other music to original.
thanks a lot! but for some reason, this is changing the name of some consumable items as well, for example, Max Potion to Love Potion, Dash Juice to Sports Drink etc. Is there any way to make the mod change only the names of songs in the music player and nothing else?
I came here to ask for your help about a Bug, but first I want to thank you for this incredible mod, it really makes the game more magical and interesting, I don't even want to think about the work it must have taken, congratulations on the incredible work.
Now moving on to the Bug, what happens when playing Astera (Day) and Astera (Night), the songs that should play only play an extremely annoying trumpet (I'm going crazy), the problem is that these tracks are in bgm_ingame_pg.npck and the other songs that play on it work normally, if you know how to solve it please help me, I beg you.
It is worth mentioning that at the beginning the tracks played normally, but something triggered this new annoying track
I found out, it seems that the song that plays is the Emils Song, apparently it won't stay for life, so I'll hold on a little longer, I'll leave this comment for anyone who has the same problem.
Any update on that ? Every damn time I enter the game in Astera that song starts to play... it is damn annoying. Is there a way to replace it with something more "enjoyable" ? That trumpet theme does not fit there...
Hey, just wanted to say THANK YOU. This is my go-to mod every time I play the game. Even after returning to it after 2+ years, this is the first thing I install. I hope you're doing great and wish you the best!
Saved my sanity against the obnoxious, looping Astera music until I got to Iceborne. Then I uninstalled it since the music is great in Iceborne.
Very well made music pack though. Great ambience. Only a handful of song choices felt weird. Most fit perfectly. But the official music follows the gameplay much better, for obvious reasons.
