Chunk tool will be breaking for iceborne, along with a majority of the tools. I suggest joining the modding discord for at least the next few weeks as progress is made on that
It seems texture mods and mods that don't rely on custom MRL3 files work. With some mods (Cuter Handler Face, Youthful Face) you can delete the MRL3 file and it'll still work, although sometimes with less features (Cuter Handler Face MRL3 file was for the eye color change).
not all of them break, as mods do different things any time a game will do a big update there's a chance some can survive it. I didn't use many but half of mine still work such as transmog and the one that adds the element weakness to monster icons as example.
