anybody who knows how damage calcs work can tell that if just capping element was actually the effect, it would be absolutely terrible. every single weapon that runs element gets at least 40% or more of its damage from the raw portion, while the bowgun's element ammo scales directly off true raw. there is also the issue of this armor set not doing anything about the elemental cap, while safi armor raises it. if it made you hit every single element at the same time, it'll be good vs very specific monsters.
