HELPFUL PALICO! 
This is a mod that boost the overall strength of your Palico by reducing it's gadget cooldown times significantly. It will use tool's more often and will also heal and revive you more often!  If you're coming from my Powerful Palico Mod, no need to use this mod, as that one will be updated with this change. This is also a re-upload because I messed up the file structure. (Tee-hee!) I also changed the formatting to make it easier to read for people.

What's Changed 
  • Your trusted companion, the Palico, has had their tools cooldowns changed. What does this mean? They will Heal and use tools more frequently than usual! 
  • Your Palico comes with a GCD (Global Cooldown) which prevents them from using skills back to back. This has been reduced down to 10 seconds down from 90 seconds. 
 This change makes your Palico more responsive to high-end hunts and also helps newer players with lower-end hunting as the Palico covers their mistakes just a bit more. Overall this is a buff. Most skills have been put on a 10 Second cooldown with the exception of a handful of skills. 


Helpful Palico (Tool Changes)  - Changelog V. 1.1 

  • Vigorwasp Revival - Old Cooldown: 60 Minutes | New: 10 Minutes 
  • Vigorwasp Cleanse - Old Cooldown: 5 Minutes | New: 10 Seconds
  • Vigorwasp Delivery - Old Cooldown: 5 Minutes | New: 10 Seconds 
  • Healing % has not been changed, but will possibly be changed in the future.
    All Internal Cooldowns have been removed entirely.

  • Rath From Above has been significantly changed. 
  • Old Cooldown has been reduced entirely. From 60 Minutes to 60 Seconds.
  • Average  Skill Lifetime has increased from 60 Seconds to 3 Minutes.
  • Shot Interval has also changed for higher DPS rate from 0.5 down to 0.1

  • Provoke has changed. 
  • Old Cooldown: 6 Minutes | New: 60 Seconds 
  • Shield Bash Rating | Old: 50% Rate | New: 100% Rate | 
  • Aggression Gained from monsters has increased x 4. 
    Your palico will now hold more monster hate. 
  • Tool Use time has been increased from 8 seconds to 15. 

  • Palico Paralyze Trap has changed. 
    Old Cooldown: 6 Minutes. |  New:  60 Seconds Internal Cooldown has been removed.  

  • Palico Flash Trap has changed.
    Old Cooldown: 4.5 Minutes | New: 2 MinutesInternal Cooldown has been removed. 

  • Plunderang has been changed.
    Plundering chances have been increased and buffed across the board. Level 1: 100%, 50%, 30% Multi Hits - Old: 3 New: 6  Level 2: 100%, 80%, 50% Multi Hits - Old: 4 New: 10 

  • Palico Slinger has changed. 
    Old Cooldown: 6 Minutes | New: 60 SecondsActive Time has increased by 10 Seconds. 30 Seconds total. Internal Cooldown has been removed
  • Palico Horn - Attack Buff has been changed. 
    Old Cooldown: 8 Minutes | New Cooldown: 2 MinutesInternal Cooldown has been removed. 
  • Unchanged Tools 
  • Palico Horn - Defense Buff (Default) (0 Seconds)
    Palico Bomb - Default (60 Seconds) Both have been left at their default values.
INSTALLATION (Fluffy) : READ! READ! READ!
 1. Install RE Framework
 2. Install Fluffy's Mod Manager 
 3. Drag & Drop the "Powerful Palico" file into your "Mods" folder. 
 4. Open Fluffy's Mod Manager 
 5. Refresh Your Mod List 
 6. Enjoy Your New Palico!

INSTALLATION (Manual) : READ! READ! READ!
1. Install RE Framework
2. On first boot after installing RE Framework, press Insert, open the LooseFIleLoader section, and check "Enable Loose File Loader"
3. Fully close the game
4. Drop the "natives" folder from your chosen version to the base directory of Monster Hunter Wilds
5. Boot the game up again. If you want to make sure the mod loaded, press Insert again and check the LooseFileLoader section, if it loaded additional files after installing the mod then you are good to go. You can also get hit on purpose and compare the healing values once your cat does decide to heal you.
