One of the reasons I've always disliked SnS is the ugly designs of certain weapons. Being so small, the more exaggerated aspects of some designs come off as impeding rather than impractical; not to mention just plain unappealing. After learning how to edit meshes and swap models, I've decided to sit down and 'fix' many of the issues I have with them.
Some of the Mods are swaps, others are tweaks or edits; some also change both shield and sword. If you wish to only have a certain part of a Mod, the readme in the zip provides details on how to do so.
Install with Fluffy Manager. Take the mods out of the zip too.
