CURRENT STATUS: 4/23/24

Sorry I disappeared off the face of the earth! I'm not back permanently, but I was thinking about this game the other day and I wanted to see if anyone had done anything in this vein, and I was mildly disappointed (although not terribly surprised) that no one had. I'm not planning on doing a full, polished update, but I wanted to come by and do some sort of update for the current game version. It's a quick and dirty update, and will probably require some trial and error as a user, but it is something at least.

'AFA Full DIY' includes all armor sets, including layered armors, earrings, etc., except for a few that I determined needed no change. Some may not visibly change anyway, but I haven't (and probably won't, due to time/energy constraints) tested pretty much any of them, so your mileage may very.

The previous installation instructions/description do not necessarily apply, but I will leave them up as they may have some information I miss here. To install this version:

This is meant to be used with Fluffy Mod Manager. You can use it manually with First Natives by mostly following the instructions in the old description.

Some pieces may not work. I don't know why or how to  fix it atm. If I figure it out I'll post it, but no promises. I am assuming the list from the old description below is still accurate, although not comprehensive by any means.

This does mean that you will have a lot of small mods, because I can only do one "layer" of mod grouping to a Fluffy mod, to my knowledge.

THERE ARE NO SCREENSHOTS. The ones on this page should still be relevant, but obviously it doesn't cover most of them. I may add them one day, I just don't have the time or energy to take all of the screenshots. If anyone takes screenshots and would like to share them, I can add them to this page and/or the mod file, just post here or message me or something and I'll respond eventually.

If I return to this, I may do more user-friendly packages like I had before, but that would be the extent of it, and I will make no promises.

My game was last updated on 2/4/2024, and I couldn't find any more planned title updates, so this should be compatible going forward.

Again sorry for the long absence, if anyone is still playing this game I hope someone finds this useful. And if anyone with more time/energy wants to expand on this, feel free to do so! If you base it off what I've done some credit would be nice I guess but this really is just copying/renaming files, nothing complex.

A (currently) medium scale effort to give women some cooler options when it comes to armor sets. Will be expanded as time progresses.

While this mod provides the option to replace all armor sets in full, I would not recommend doing so. The default setting matches the images above, but if there are more (or less) changes you'd like to make, you can either manually add/remove sets or use the "custom" option in the install script.

Installation Instructions:

The Fluffy Installer files are made to be used with Fluffy Manager, but it can also be used with FirstNatives by manually moving the desired files to your natives folder.

Manual Installation (using the All Models file):

1. Ensure REFramework and FirstNatives are installed.
2. Consult ArmorSets.txt to find the id's for the sets you would like to alter.
3. For each slot you'd like to alter, go into the marked directory, and for both the streaming and player folders, find the folder inside matching the armor set's id, and copy that to the corresponding path in your game directory.

Example: Alloy Leg Alter

(LEG\player\mod\f\pl004) -> (<game directory>\natives\STM\player\mod\f\pl004)

(LEG\streaming\player\mod\f\pl004) -> (<game directory>\natives\STM\streaming\player\mod\f\pl004)

player is the standard models, and streaming is used for 4k textures on pc, but I would add it just in case even if you aren't explicitly using the 4k textures

4. That's it!

Known Bugs and Issues:

- The Somnacanth, Almudron, Crimson Valstrax, and Crimson Valstrax - Eclipse sets don't work. I have not figured out why, but I will look into it.
- Some partial alters (eg aknosom just legs) result in clipping. I don't know if I can fix this without actually doing modeling work, which is out of my wheelhouse, so for now the solution is to skip that piece or add more pieces (eg legs and waist) to compensate.

Compatibility:

This mod should be compatible with most other mods, unless it alters the women's armor sets. For those, the most recently installed mod will work, because that mod will have overwritten the previous mods files. This is for firstnatives setups, I'm unsure how fluffy installations interact there.

Other Mods to Check Out:

A kacamac has some mods that add much more form-fitting pants/leggings and shorts to some of the women's leg armors. Keep in mind that you should install their mod/s after mine so that their files actually take effect, as we cover many of the same armor sets.

Available Packages:

For ease of organization, I've decided to split the armor I'm modifying by in-game rarity. Because progressing through the game is very time comsuming I've decided to cheat in all the armors temporarily for testing and screenshots. As I get each rarity pack to a finished state, I will upload it here. For now the original default package will remain, but once I've covered ALL of the same armors I will remove it as it will be redundant. Additionally, any armors at different rarities that use the same models will also be altered, as well as layered armors, so the rarity 1 pack covers High Rank, Master Rank, and Layered leather armor in addition to the Low Rank rarity 1 version for example.

As of now, I intend to create a separate package for any helmet changes because to save some storage space for those who don't play with helmet visibilty, but I may re-evaluate down the line if that becomes hard to manage.

The currently available packages and their included options are:
(legs, waist) means either/or, (legs + waist) means both at once.
