Using this BepInEx plugin you can disable Outline types of the game. MiSide uses several types of outlines - and using the mod's settings file (See Readme and screenshots) you can tackle 3 of them.
The three types of outlines you can disable.
MiSide has at least 3 types of outlines. These three are described in the readme and here:
- Mouse Highlights: Well, you know them. You highlight something you can interact with and you get a large white outline. This mod in its default settings will keep this enabled - mostly because you lose a major hint about your gameplay progress. But if you hate them: sure, get rid of them.
- Shader outlines: MiSide uses a shader on Mita, the player character and some other things - those can be disabled and the mod by default does.
- Post processing outlines: On top of that MiSide uses a PostProcessing effect called Sobel Outline which renders outlines on static objects such as furniture. By default this mod will disable those
FAQ
What's needed to run this mod?
- You'll need BepInEx like many other mods. It doesn't work with MelonLoader. It can be used alongside the Console Unlocker mod and shouldn't conflict with other mods as to my knowledge.
I found things with outlines even though I have all of them disabled!
- Report it please.
Is the mod source code available?
- Yes. You can find them on my GitHub.
