This mod is something personal. I tried my best with this — it’s my first time making a mod like this, and it means a lot to finally put it out there. I’ve always had a thing for the Shock Protectors in Mirror’s Edge Catalyst — the presence they have, the boots, the gear, the power dynamic. And I knew I wanted to take it further. So I replaced their original leather textures with something darker, smoother, and more intense: full-body matte latex. Everyone knows I’ve always had a deep love for leather, so this mod is a new take — a latex reinterpretation of that same obsession. These aren’t flashy. They don’t reflect much. They just cling — skin-tight, suffocating, clean and cold. Every step they take feels heavier. Every move they make looks more commanding. I wanted them to feel like walking obsessions — figures you fear, crave, or submit to… depending on who you are. And for those who know me — yeah, I have a foot fetish too. This mod was also made with that in mind. There’s something about seeing those boots — those soles — encased in slick black latex or worn leather, that hits different. That intensifies everything. Eventually, I want to release a follow-up: a full feet version of this mod. Something that exposes their feet under the boots or reworks the models to show off what’s hidden. Because if you’re like me, and you’ve stared a little too long at those Shock Protectors wondering what’s underneath... I get you. This mod is for the ones who feel the tension, who crave the power play, and who aren’t afraid to admit it. Thank you to all my bi and gay fans who see what I see.
