Similar to the original Mirror's Edge, health will recover during combat and is slightly faster than normal. Focus shield and last chance slo-mo is also removed, encouraging a more cautious playstyle.

With this mod, getting attacked actually poses a threat, similar to the first game, as there is no focus shield to protect you. However, health will recover during combat and is slightly faster than normal. This means you will have to find cover to heal instead of moving and building focus.
Warning: this mods softlocks the last section of Release since focus is disabled.
