Ever wondered how the Minecraft World looked like in the Prehistory?
A world full of lush jungles, deep oceans and huge caves.
Back then,the Overworld and the Nether were connected and they shared flora and fauna.
From exotic giants to bizarre predators, the ancient creatures were totally different from their discendents.
With Paleo Pals, you'll be able to discover a lost world, which ruins and remains are scarce.
Find ancient and exotic blocks to mix past with present.
Meet old creatures and discover how they evolved into the actual ones.
Recreate this lost world.
The pack is split in waves:
WAVE 1 - Swamps & Seas
This wave adds 3 mobs and 3 blocks:
1) BigMouth: A little, strange and rocky creture, the BigMouth lived in swamps, where he hid in rocks, mud and/or moss to hunt smaller preys.
2) PufferSpike: An ancestor to the modern Pufferfish, the Pufferspike is a really big fish (compared to modern fish) with giant spikes on its back. It lived in the ancient seas, where it swam near coral reefs, just like its modern counterpart.
3) Lavafish: Back when the Nether was connected to the Overworld, lava and water seas were in the depths of the world. Unlike you may think, these were rich of animals. The Lavafish is an example: while its modern counterpart, the Strider, walks on lava, this creature swims in it.

1) Paleovynia: An ancient plant,the Paleovynia is a plant that can grab nearby entities. While it may be an obstacle,it's very flammable.
2) Fossil Block: A stone block which contains some fossils.
3) Amberlight: A block similar to Glowstone and Shroomlight. Once really common in the Nether, it's more durable than Glowstone and has a really high blast resistence.
WAVE 2 - Paleo-Plants
This wave adds 1 mob and 4 blocks:
1) The Buzzer: An ancestor of the modern bee, The Buzzer is very similar to its modern counterpart,but it's longer and has a green skin with red spots. It flew in the ancient jungles,between the lush plants.
1) Ancient Grass: Some grass, but ancient. That's it.
2) Archaeoaloe: An ancient plant that is very similar to the modern aloe vera.
3) Archaeofloris: An ancient plant with a tower-like shape. It has a flower on the top.
4) Glowbush: A bush cointaining some glowing berries, perhaps glow berries?
