Nice mod but have an issue with getting the throttle to work in the Cessa 172 when departing from this airport. Have no issue if I select this airport for arrival.
Looks great from the pictures not sure why I'm having an issue other scenery mods work just fine including your Big Bear scenery which is fantastic btw, but for some reason only a couple of the buildings actually show, the white building and the main building don't spawn neither does the piece of scenery in Avalon any help would be much appreciated, thank you.
I Just want to chime in here and say I was one who was getting crashes using this EPIC scenery but now all is well. Come to find out my " Bing Data World Graphics " for some reason was off. I turned back on and know no more crashes.
Now, hoping one day L35 Big Bear Airport will be made.
I will give that a try but I think I already have it turned on. Maybe I will turn it off then back on again and see if that works. Thanks for the suggestion.
FSRobert - Thank you, thank you, thank you for letting me know about this!! It worked! I swear I turned on "Bing Data World Graphics". Maybe the last update turned this off. Who knows, but thank you to you kind sir for posting about your solution and thank you to @JOSUEMEJIA for the update on the airport! Just awesome!!! :-)
What a wonderfull piece of a scenery ! A BIG thank you ! I only flew there a couple of time (in real from PlusOne San Diego) and it was always a great experience. In the sim, yesterday, the real local weather made it a pure magic-moment.

And finally, may I add two comments ? First, a very minor issue, I saw just looking around with the threshold green lights which are not all on the ground. Very minor, but If it's fixable :)
Second and I really don't know if it's manageable, whereas on my PC/MSFS configurations or on the scenery development side, but at distance the ground texture lacks of details and is jaggy.

1. runway end lights. this one frustrated me. because in the editor the lower ground lights are used. but when the game is launched it replaces the lights with the ugly tall lights. I could not find how to change this ( if someone knows I'd appreciate the help!) so I used a light support to hide the ugly lights and made my own ground lights. the issue here like you pointed out is that the light itself it still offset for the taller light. I will definitely fix when able because this bugs me so much!
2. textures: the only fix for fuzzy textures IF you have the GPU power to spare is to increase your render scale in the sim's graphic settings. for example I have mine set to 130% and this gives me pretty nice textures at distance. give it a shot and let us know if it works for you.

Thank you for this! This was the first place I flew to when I bought the game and I was disappointed. I have flown here in a Cherokee a few times and it's a fun place to fly. I'm looking forward to installing this scenery.
EDIT: I just installed and tested this scenery. It looks amazing. All the little details are there. A beautiful little airport and very fun to fly to. I even see the table I sat at last time I had lunch there. Beautiful work.
Glad you're enjoying it! Sure was a labor of love to a wonderful airport! Believe it or not this was the airport I landed on for my third ever landing when getting my ppl. Would have botched the landing had my instructor not brought the nose up just a tad bit higher. That runway sure makes it interesting!
Thank you for making this airport more realistic! I am having a problem with it though. Every time I am on final it crashes the game. Also when I spawn at the airport itself it crashes. Do you have any idea what may be causing this? I downloaded the update thinking that may help but to no avail it didn't. Again thank you for your hard work on this and for any help you may be able to provide.
Not sure what might be the cause. I've never experienced a crash on final but a buddy of mine was getting them often at random airports. Are your driver's all up to date? If not I'd give that a shot.
This is a great piece of scenery. Thanks very much for creating it! One small niggle . The perimeter fence (barbed wire) is a tad too big in scale. You might wanna scale it down just a bit. But I love landing here. Went there today started from LAX and flew into the famous ocean mist crawling up Catalina Island. Rising sun. Loved it!
Hi Rob, Thanks for feedback! I have a few more cosmetic updates I want to make this week so I can look into updating the scale of the perimeter fence then. I'm glad you love this airport as much as I do! There is something majestic about it no doubt so I'm happy to enrich that experience for flight sim.

One comment - needs a few parking spots. So you can also fly out (not just from the runway).
Thank for pointing it out. If you download V1.1 you should now have parking spot options for start!
