This is just an optional mod to have if anyone wants the International airport variant.

Note: If you have the Walt Disney Runway installed, remove that folder and replace it with this folder. This Airport merges both into one. WDRW will be expanded with this project. If you want the original Walt Disney Runway, head here. Although you can have either Runway variant installed it would look better with this Runway that comes with this package.

A work in progress airport.

The Walt Disney International Airport is a bigger project compared to other projects that I started.

I always wondered what would have happened if Walt was still alive and Epcot did become that "city" he envisioned during his early days of building the theme parks. With this city he wanted to have his own Airport hub where employees, tourists can fly in without having the need to travel 30 minutes to the hotel or parks. So I brought his vision to life.

I used Walt's original idea as a reference plan (image 1 & 2) and I just built it from the ground up.

Reenvisioned Runway

Due to the scale of the original idea of the Walt Disney International Airport that Walt envisioned. Most of the land that would be the Airport is already in use. I reduced the original plans that included the sphere-like terminal that then connects to an area for General Aviation. With this area reduction in mind, I only kept the General Aviation concept idea in mind. I turned the GA area to an International zone while I kept the Walt Disney Runway catering to GA flights.

The International area (WDIA) only caters to Commercial flights like the A320 and 747 variants. Smaller aircraft can land here to get fuel but other than that, WDRW is catered to General Aviation flights.

• ICAO: WDIA along with WDRW
• IATA: WDA
• (Soon tm) Reenvisioned STOL Runway for GA flights, extended version of the Walt Disney Runway project have.
• Road connection to Epcot.
• Terminal features gateways for Commercial flights.
• 3 runways
  
  • Runway ( WR ) available for both approach and departure.
  • Runway ( WC ) available for departure.
  • Runway ( NL & SL) available for both approach and departure.
    
• 3 taxiway paths
  Other added stuff:
  • Windsocks
  • Helicopter pads
  • Parking lots for employees, flyers and General Aviation hangar owners.
  • Hangars that local rent to store aircraft with a small aircraft fuel depot.
