In this video I show a way that you can extend your air supply and use less filters during gameplay, so you never run out of air.

This can be used with any of the Metro series games.
This will allow you to complete entire areas on just a single air filter, while allowing you to max out your air supply through the entire game.
Also useful if you have run out of air and have become stuck in an area by extending what little air you have to find more filters and quickly rebuild your air supply.
