This is just the .ini file, to install it place it in your Metro Exodus game folder where the .exe is located. You will need the latest version of ReShade (http://reshade.me) to use my file. Before installing ReShade, go into your Metro Exodus in-game settings & change the game from DX12 to DX11 then restart the game so the change will take effect. Now close the game. To install Reshade: open the ReShade installer, click the game's .exe, select the games API- it's DX10+, click okay to download all .fx files and click okay to install them. It should say succeeded. Close the ReShade installer. Important! When launching the game, if it won't launch, Crashes To Desktop or your controller doesn't work: you will need to go into your Metro Exodus game folder & rename the dxgi file to d3d11. To open your ReShade menu press the Home(pos1) key on your keyboard. Click the drop-down menu while in the ReShade menu & select my file you downloaded "ME_RealisticReShade.ini". If it's not in the drop-down menu you will need to click the + button next to the drop-down arrow & type in the full name of my file ME_RealisticReShade.ini & press enter. Press the Home(pos1) key to close the ReShade menu.
