    Installation:

    If updating Zeta, uninstall the old version first!
    Extract "ZetaIHAddon.zip"
    Open SnakeBite Mod Manager
    Go to "Mods" 
    Click "Install .MGSV file(s)"
    Select "ZetaIHAddon.MGSV"
    Click "Continue Installation"

    Usage:

    Download and install MGSV mods that require Zeta.
    Hold down the Dive button (Space Bar) or press F3 to access the IH overlay menu.
    Scroll down to "Zeta Menu"

    The cutscene ids for "Recover the Reptile Pod" and "Pass Judgment on Huey" are very, very close to each other, indicating a connection. "Recover Reptile Pod" is p31_060010 and "Pass Judgment on Huey" is p31_060030.


    Cutscene ids follow this pattern:

    The environment index correlates to locations & miscellaneous types of cutscenes. 1 is Guantanamo, 2 is Cyprus, 3 is Afghanistan, 4 is Africa and Kingdom of the Flies, 5 is Mother Base, and beyond is used for miscellaneous locations and cutscene types.     If you have no other mods installed that modify character skills, and you literally just want Hideo, Silent Basilisk and Ziang Tan to have a decent skill, the base version of the mod will do the deeds.

    If you want some boosting on other key characters, enemy levels out in the wild, etc. then download the Skilled Key Staff Compatible version.
    Because both our mods are actually only modding the one particular game file, you don't actually need to install Skilled Key Staff Mod itself.
    You can force SnakeBite to overwrite it if you wish, or you can remove Skilled Key Staff before installing this mod. Should be samesame for the result.

    The Problem

    The camo system in Metal Gear Solid 5 is somewhat binary: Either you have matching camo for the texture Snake is standing on, or you don't. Since this can have huge effects on enemy sight range, this can lead to situations where camo is inconsistent at all the wrong times, adding to frustration. Additionally, FOB Events added a ton of cool new camos but lazily assigned seemingly random effectiveness to them, leading to bizarre scenarios like Desert Ambush -- a sandy yellow and black camo -- only being effective in greenery! There are many other problems, such as Golden Tiger being the sole camo in the entire game with any degree of effectiveness on red soil, Woodland being completely redundant because of Olive Drab, and so forth.

  • Removing Camouflage Files

    If you want to use only specific camos, or take certain ones out here's a guide, because no I'm not segmenting my mod into 61 separate .mgsv files for each individual camo.

    Firstly you're going to need a tool like WinRAR or 7-Zip that can open .mgsv files.

    Open the .mgsv file, inside you should see a folder named assets, drag that into to a newly made folder on your PC, named "20thCF Edit" or whatever you'll remember, the metadata.xml can also be helpful to include for repacking later but not essential.

    Now inside the assets folder there's going to be 3 important paths
    Assets\tpp\chara\sna\Pictures
    Assets\tpp\pack\player\fova
    Assets\tpp\ui\texture\EquipIcon\suit
