My version's better because it gives 100% S++ enemy soldiers from the start of the game, increases Snake and Avatar's stats, removes all negative abilities, and makes Quick Reload a little more likely to show up than any other enemy skill.


When you upgrade Snake's prosthetic arm to get the speed boost, reload speed boost, and so on it gives Snake a copy of the skills Combat Unit Soldiers can have when you play as them. So Snake with the reload speed-boosting prosthetic upgrade will reload just as fast as a Combat Unit Soldier with Quick Reload. Snake with the health upgrade is as tough as a soldier with the Tough Guy skill.

Note that this WON'T affect enemy soldiers with Crafting skills like Electrospinning Specialist. They might show up, but I didn't increase their chances or replace their skills with Quick Reload. You only need one of those, so putting them in the pool of combat skills would be a waste of time after you get the first one of each. There are SideOps mods that allow easy recruitment and rescue of Diamond Dogs and enemy soldiers with all the Crafting Skills, one of each, so try one of those if you don't want to get the Crafting Skill guys from the story missions. Or forget the crafting skills and grab a "Make everything developable" mod.

I also fixed the "Snake's stats aren't as high as a Legendary Soldier's should be" error Kojima accidentally left in his game. Upgrading the stats from S to S++ was easy. This gives a very mild bonus to damage resistance and item use time. It's stupid that some random nobody stolen from Afganistan or Africa would have better stats than Solid Motherfucking Venom T. Snake or his clone.

Quick Reload is objectively the best skill in terms of damage, stealth, and style. Reload your silenced tranq pistol faster, reload your machine gun faster, it's better than the skill that lets you running-punch enemies and the skill that makes you climb faster. Every other skill is extremely situational, but you will never find yourself in a situation where you don't want a faster reload time. Sneaky guys don't care about having extra health or a punch that's always inferior to the tranq gun/CQC atk/grab and interrogate then choke tactic. As for the "run a little faster" skill, it is completely ignored when you put the Raiden suit on to run faster. Everyone's max speed in the Raiden outfit, so the speedy running skill is utterly useless when speed is actually needed.
