How to Change FOB Guard Outfit Texture, Modders Index Resource
Simply of all, you have to unpack your chunk0.dat file with QAR tool. Then, go to your new folder and follow this trail: chunk0\Assets\tpp\pack\mission2\common
When did that, you'll see three files for each name. Fpk= Model, isn't looking for. Fpkd= Same thing. Pftxs= Texture, that's what we have to modify.
mis_com_dd_soldier_attack= Tiger Stripe Fatigues, appears in mission 22 and 17 as prisioners, in grade 1 and 2 security settings will appear with this outfit on FOBs too. Affect male and female.
mis_com_dd_soldier_wait= Mother Base staff outfit, I supose.
mis_com_dd_soldier_gz= MSF lost soldiers of old MB, This will not affect anything but those soldiers and mission 22 enemies.
mis_com_dd_soldier_btdrs= Battle dress for FOB guards, affects female and male guards.
mis_com_dd_soldier_sneak= Sneaking suit for FOB guards, same thing.
Knowing that, we have to create a folder called Assets, then create the exact direction seen before (Assets\tpp\pack\mission2\common). You will have to paste in the common folder the .pftxs male dd soldier texture file you can find unpacking any other mod.
ddm= Male dd
ddf= Female dd
Any of two= Snake
Once done that, You'll have to rename the .pftxs file to the outfit's name you dare to modify. So, have done every step? Let's go to fun and easy part, making a SnakeBite file! You have to install SnakeBite and MakeBite will appear in SnakeBite's directory. Run MakeBite, Select the folder that contains the Assets folder that you have created just a moment before. Assets folder has to be into another folder and this folder has to be selected, or it won't work. Build the .mgsv file, then, install with our lovely SnakeBite.
With this, you have modified your FOB soldier outfit texture or any other texture you wanted to. To choose Mother Base Staff outfits, use Infinite Heaven mod or Ultimate TPP Mod. Thank you for reading, best wishes!
