About this mod:
It includes 4 options for restricting the Fulton Recovery mechanic:

  • Hard Limit: Fulton recovery is disabled after a set amount of recoveries.
  • Soft Limit:  The Fulton doesn't disable, but the odds of a successful recovery decrease significantly after a set amount of recoveries.
  • Hard Cooldown: A cooldown phase begins after a set amount of recoveries and Fulton Recovery is disabled during that time.
  • Soft Cooldown: The Fulton doesn't disable, but the odds of a successful recovery are decreased during the cooldown phase.

By default, the number of usable fultons has been drastically decreased from [12/24/36/48] to [3/5/8/12], however this can be easily adjusted by editing the script file with a text editor (found in MGS_TPP\mod\modules\ after the mod is installed). The Fulton Ballista and D-Dog's Fultons don't count towards these numbers, but they are affected by the Soft option's recovery penalties.

Update:
I have added versions for people who don't use Infinite Heaven, but only the "Hard Limit" and "Hard
Cooldown" options. Apparently the "Soft" options required some IH
dependency to work right.


Also:
  • The 'Limit' options receive additional Fulton counts based on the rank of the Support Unit: +1 per Fulton Support rank.
  • The 'Cooldown' options receive a cooldown reduction based on the rank of the Support Unit: -60 seconds per Fulton Support rank.
  • The 'Soft' options receive slightly improved recovery chances based on the rank of the Support Unit: +8% chance of a recovery per Fulton Support rank.
