I've tried this mod twice. It didn't work the first time but the second time, when I use a Quickstart Save with GZ data from Mission 22, the mod works! I think the problem is that you must have an FOB so that staff will be transfered to the Waiting Room instead of being dismissed, then when you install the mod, they will be transfered to units
I Think I get the problem my save already upgraded all the other bases which my base has 700 max staff and the vanilla game lets you only have 700 staff that includes people on the brig
if it exceeded that the game automatically fires your staffs
the mod works and lets you add more people than a 100 people
about to make a new save just to make sure the mod Really works
Game keeps dismissing members that I've captured/recruited. Though the total staff size for MB is 1280. Used snakebite to install. Did I do something wrong?

So what did you figured out? My total staff on each unit is also 1280 and i am also experiencing the same thing but kinda thought that it is functioning as design. If i'm not mistaken, MB automatically dismisses or rejects new recruits that are low ranks. I would understand if each of my unit are at maximum limit, but apparently they're not. I still have enough room on each unit.
If you figured it out, please share with us. Me, and the guy who also replied to you, are both having our staff dismissed. The only way i found is to leave the highest ranking staff members of units on waiting room, giving space for more. It seems that while you can have up to 1280 staff, the game still recognizes 100 as the max limit and dismisses the rest unless the one being recruited is stronger than your weakest staff member in the unit. Then it replaces accordingly.
I'm stop using this mod, unfortunately. Since the guy who apparently solved the issue hasn't replied back, seems a typical case of "solved my problem, f*#@ others" but i could be wrong. Regardless, just got 2 S++ Combat unit dismissed while having 58/1280 in total in that unit all the while i had weaker soldiers of A++ that for some reason weren't dismissed in the place of the S++ And no, i hadn't put them in direct contract. Anyway. Great mod, but seems to cause some issues. Maybe needs update? I don't know. Thanks anyway.
would like to know this riddle too, i just started getting staff dismissed too. although what i did was i uninstalled the mod, then used the included MbmCommonSetting20BaseResSec.lua too edit container values, kinda make two mods in one, i dont know if thats what screwed it up tho, dont remember if i started losing staff before or after that

Recently I have been losing staff due to the limit, even though the cap it's high!
