No Development Requirements v1.0.15.3r4 (2022-02-14)
By: BobDoleOwndU

--Changes in this Release--
  • Equipment is now automatically unlocked.
  • All online equipment is now unlocked. (See description for details.)
  • Special items no longer have a hidden requirement; so they can be developed as soon as everything else.

--Description--
--No Development Requirements (Online)--
DO NOT INSTALL UNTIL AFTER COMPLETING EPISODE 2: DIAMOND DOGS

What this gives you while online:
  • All offline equipment unlocked.
  • All online weapons unlocked.
  • All online equipment that does not require an event blueprint unlocked.
  • Free deployment with all offline equipment and online weapons.

What this gives you while offline:
  • All equipment unlocked.
  • Free deployment with all items.

Notes:
  • Any online equipment you've unlocked the event blueprints for will also be unlocked while online.
  • You will still have to pay to deploy with online equipment other than weapons while online.
  • To get the offline effects, you must start the game without connecting to Konami's server. If you connect, you will get the online effects instead. See the troubleshooting section for info on how to start the game offline.
  • There is a known bug where you can't deploy to FOB missions with online items you haven't developed legitimately (excluding weapons; they work fine regardless of if they were developed legitimately or not). See the troubleshooting section for details.

  • Special requirements will be removed from items. Meaning anything can be developed as long as you meet the resource and team requirements.

--No Base Dev Requirements--
What this gives you:
  • Allows you to unlock all of Motherbase's platforms for free! To develop a platform, start development in the iDroid, and then exit out of the base development screen. The platform will finish development instantly.

--Troubleshooting--
Issue: My game is crashing!
This means one of two things. You have an outdated mod that affects weapons installed, or you are using an outdated/illegal copy of TPP. If the former, simply remove the outdated mod. If the latter, update/purchase the game.

Issue: I am booted back to the ACC upon deploying on FOB missions!
This seems to be caused by deploying to FOB missions with online items you haven't developed legitimately (excluding weapons; they work fine regardless of if they were developed legitimately or not). Unfortunately, this is currently not fixable. So the solution is to only use online items you have developed legitimately when deploying to FOB missions.

Issue: My issue is not listed here!
Leave a comment or bug report telling me about it!

Issue: How do I start the game offline?
There are two relatively easy ways to do this.

1. Use Infinite Heaven. Infinite Heaven has an option to start the game offline that will achieve this. Once you've enabled the option in IH, restart the game and it will start offline.

2. Edit the hosts file. Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc and open the hosts file there (as administrator) in a text editor such as Notepad or Notepad++. Add the following line to the bottom of the file.

127.0.0.1 mgstpp-game.konamionline.com

This will cause the game to fail to connect online, and start you in offline mode. If you want to play online again, remove the line from the hosts file or add a # to the front of the line.
