Description:
I'm afraid it's been nine years. Injured and left for dead, the surgeon suits up for battle against Cipher. A phantom doctor hungry for revenge. Whether you stick to your Hippocratic Oath or not, well, that's up to you.
In honour of MGSV's nine year anniversary (albeit late); I have put together this model swap, for both Snake and male Diamond Dogs, for you to enjoy. New and improved, the good doctor has been provided surgical gloves and a mask for clean battlefield incursions. With functioning blood stains you will need your new medical gear to keep yourself clean in sticky situations. Not to mention the fixed first-person view to admire your new gloves up-close and personal.
This mod comes with a variety of cosmetic options to suit your preferences; whether you want to only use the gloves or prefer to replace a different outfit. The default file will replace the Naked Snake Sneaking Fatigues, allowing you to switch between the naked, maskless version or the alternate masked version at will. If you prefer to replace a different outfit; this mod includes six optional files to replace either the default Sneaking Suit, the Naked Snake Sneaking Suit or the Tuxedo outfit. You can replace any of these outfits with either the maskless gloved version of this mod, or the gloved and masked version of this mod.
Update 1.01:
Now updated with some fixes to the mask, cloth fixes tweaks and you can now replace a Quiet skin of your choice with the nurse from the prologue of MGSV to complete the squad (replacing the base version of Quiet will even effect cutscenes, though the model will look very goofy at times). A FPV patch and Zulu port is coming soon.
Known Issues:
For the male Diamond Dogs you need to equip a balaclava for the model to load correctly.
With the working first-person view comes an issue while using the Int Scope where at certain angles, and at certain stances, your hands and arms will sometimes be visible while using the binoculars (pictured). It can be a little distracting sometimes but it is not very intrusive, in my opinion. I'll look into a fix. (Update: I now have a solution for this but it requires 3ds Max to implement, so I am waiting for a good time to do multiple projects at once, but it will happen.)
Also, if you are using multiple outfit replacers for this mod at once Snakebite will give an overwrite alert but as the files are the same so this alert can safely be ignored.
To do:
I may do a vanilla doctor version if there is demand for it, but in the meantime, try FanboyDeker's version if you are interested. Planning on porting this to Zulu.
