Changelogs
Version 1.0
Initial Release of the mod
This mod basically removes static effect from UI. You can see how it looks like on the original page of this mod.
Original mod by Paul-Scott https://www.nexusmods.com/metalgearsolidvtpp/mods/860 Now ported to MGO3!
This mod will make some HUD like enemy traces on the minimap become weird-looking, but not in a terrible way, it just takes some time to get used to.
[How to Install] I recommended backing up chunk0.dat before installing this mod.
To install the mod, you need to download GzsTool first. You can get it from https://github.com/Atvaark/GzsTool/releases/
Then, extract the GzsTool. After that, unpack "chunk0.dat", located in "/steamapps/common/MGS_TPP/mgo/" by dragging "chunk0.dat" into "Gzstool.exe." When completed, there will be a folder named "chunk0_dat" and a file named "chunk0.dat.xml".
Download the mod and extract the .zip file, and there will be a folder named "Assets"
Put that "Assets" folder into the folder "chunk0_dat"
After completed replacing the file, drag "chunk0.dat.xml" back into "Gzstool.exe."
Wait a moment, the command prompt window will be closed automatically when completed.
Delete the folder "chunk0_dat" and the file "chunk0.dat.xml"
