When I try to explore Afghanistan out of bounds and I go too far out, the game freezes. Can such a fix like this mod be made for the entire map so that you can go wherever you want without the game freezing?
I had never heard of chico village before you posted this. Was the the name 'chico village' was found in the files? Do you have any more information about what chico village was intended to be used for?
The large block's name is "chicoVil," it's on the path to the file it's trying to look for when entering the area. Outpost 22 is also actually chicoVilWest, and following guard post nomenclature, originally a western observation post of chicoVil (the map image in-game is rotated 45 degrees clockwise), you might have heard of that when it was datamined from strings in the TPP companion app. We know Chico would have survived and been in Zaire in TPP, with Amanda later asking you to kill him, and that the name actually does stand for Chico Village, because its internal Japanese name was "チコ村." This we know from the leaked spreadsheets. The rest of the Chico stuff in the files is actually entirely unrelated, by the way. Look up Chico Walker Gear. Wild.
We don't know any of that, everything else is just speculation, nothing about any mission. For example, we have more proof for Volgin being a buddy at some point than Chico being one. There is no data for any room on Mother Base where he would have resided in, that I'm sure about.
