Project OFFLINE: Take Me Off The Grid v2
for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain 1.15 (v1.0.15.3 exe)]

Simple mod which allows for development of online-only items in offline mode.


This mod dirty hack of a mod has been created solely as a replacement of Morbidslinky's mod Offline Development For Swimsuits 1.0.14.0 from Female Megalodon Swimsuit Revamp which does not work with version 1.0.15.0 or later.

But after creating v1 I got very interested into GZ/TPP modding and I took this mod a step further - I wanted to create a mod, which would solve a problem of artificial online-lock which prevents development of high-tier items. As of now, this mod also changes development requirements so all items are possible to develop without need of going online even once.

Install with SnakeBite. Also - use Infinite Heaven to turn on permanent offline mode (1: IH system menu > 11: Start offline) before installing this mod OR block all connections from and to mgsvtpp.exe and mgsvmgo.exe in firewall settings (on Linux-based OS you can set firewall on Proton/WINE using cgroups) - all online-only items you've developed offline will become locked again once game synchronizes with servers. There may be some other consequences to this I'm not aware of (like your PC exploding).

It's highly recommended to install this mod just before starting new playthrough - if you only want to unlock development of swimsuits, download and install version 0.1.

This mod will conflict with No More Timers (and possibly many other mods) if you have it installed. As such, I've made version, which includes deployment and platform development timer removers from No More Timers, so you can replace it with this mod.
