- More real/Delta visual looking grass and in general better greens
- a bit of sharpening for increasing visual clarity especially close range
- better far distance
- better antialiasing(vanilla antilias was not covering everything like leafs)
- Ambient Occlusion for a more modern look
- Optional experimental qUINT RTGI ("Ray Traycing")
Remember to endorse if you liked it :)
READ!!
QUINT RTGI NOT REQUIRED, IT'S JUST A "PLUS", AN ADDITION, A FUN EXPERIENCE AND IS EXPERIMENTAL SO EXPECT INCORRECT RAYS
If the rtgi effect "bugs" bother you, simply disable the effect via the overlay.
This preset is not a generic messy-red based or oversharped preset (cause it's like this 90% of the time i know)
i spent a lot of time for tweaking it to the best i could for this game so enjoy
Very Basic Install
Download my mod and run reshade (DX11), then select MGS3
BE SURE TO SELECT MY PRESET to download all the effects required
Video Showcase:
qUINT RTGI(RAY TRAICING) used and raccomended(maybe not for the first playthrough but it's up to you) BUT IT CAN BE BUGGY
you can use this preset even without it, you will only lose a bit of ambient occlusion, the rays and reflections.
Notes:
- in some dark scenarios for example jungle at night, this preset has a blue color issue, without RTGI enabled it's less noticable but it's still there, i guess it's the prize to pay for a better graphic in 89% of the cases. For now the fix for this issue it's either temporary disable this preset in those scenarios or manually changing the blue gain in "LiftGammaGain"(not raccomended, cause when the night is gone, everything will look too greenish)
Me personally, i just turn rtgi off when it's too much blue and live with it. - i noticed very little to nothing performance drop, try to turn off or lower rtgi settings if you have problems. Generally don't worry about that, unless you are on a very potato
- i noticed that some features that i used with RTGI are experimental and sometimes they don't work properly, but nothing " visual breaking " in most scenarios (needs more test tho)
- needs more tests for being perfect, any suggestion is welcome
