Originally designed by Toshio Noguchi, his design of the 'Sons of Liberty' flag has never been presented in a legible quality in-game.
Using a high quality image of the original design shared by Noguchi on his Twitter, the in-game texture has been remade and has replaced the original, lower quality version.
This is seen in the Shell 1-2 connecting bridge and Solidus's suit.
