About this mod

Adds a new playable character to the custom character store, "Shu Kurenai". The bundle also comes with 3 new cards, and Shu Kurenai's signature weapon, the Requiem Axe. Shu also introduces a large number of new mechanics not seen in any other character.

Adds the playable character "Shu Kurenai" from "Beyblade Burst" to the custom character store, as well as 2 cards "Best Friend, Greatest Rival" and "Beigoma Academy" to the custom card store, signature weapon "Requiem Axe" to the custom weapon store, and "A Walk Alone in Hell - Character Exclusive Random Booster" to the permanent item store, which grants a chance of obtaining Shu's signature character card, "The Only Enemy is Me".
This mod is currently only available in English. Its text in other languages are either outdated or unavailable. Please play in English for the best experience.

This project is inarguably my "ultimate" project, all the modding experience I've learned up to this point has been put to test in this project. Before I explain the extreme details of this project I'd like to give massive credits to my team where they are due:

DOWNLOAD NOTE:
- For Linux users, please use Gamescape if suffering performance issues. Performance issues have been detected with Wayland.

KNOWN BUGS:
- Brief freezing during the first time transforming to Valkyrie Mode during 1 play session. Consecutive changes to Valkyrie Mode in the same play session will not concur this freeze. This is due to caching issues with Tangerine, and will be patched with the help of Tangerine v2, but as of the moment, this is not a major issue.
- Absurd burst damage numbers during Astral Spark from "The Only Enemy is Me" card. Certain raid bosses may lock the game when killed in this manner.  This issue will be patched at a later time.
- Spriggan Requiem from FDNA3 only deals damage once to the first target it hits. I'm not sure if I will fix this one because it's not actually an issue, just not intended.

His kit features an exemplary amount of new mechanics, so his kit will be detailed below:

Skill 2: Requiem Zone (cooldown: 6s) / Bound Attack (cooldown: 6s @ 2 ammo)
Darken the stage and unleash a powerful energy attack that strikes all enemies within a large range with Spriggan Requiem’s spin, dealing n% of damage per energy shot, inflicting the slow status to decrease targets' movement speed by 55% for 5 seconds, and releasing 5 additional energy shots that track the target and ignore terrain. Suffer no damage during the skill. Under Valkyrie Mode, this skill becomes Bound Attack, which shoots 7 rounds of Strike God Valkyrie, each dealing damage 240% of attack, which will rebound terrain and penetrate targets. After Strike God Valkyrie penetrates a target, its damage is 150% (of its original damage).

Use and acquire a shield that can withstand 140% attack damage.

Skill 2: Requiem Slash (cooldown: 4s) / Ultimate Reboot (cooldown: 6s)
Dash forward with Spriggan Requiem and launch a slash towards the target, dealing n% of damage and rendering the target immobile when hit. When the skill hits a target, it will deal continuous damage with a triple slash, and energy blades that ignore terrain will fly out in sync with each slash. When the skill does not meet any target, you will quickly dash forward undisturbed. You do not take any damage or negative status effects during use. Under Valkyrie Mode, this skill becomes Ultimate Reboot, which creates a field that incapacitates all targets and deals damage periodically in its range and grants you a massive boost in damage and movement speed that cannot be removed. You also suffer no damage and negative status effects for the duration of the field's presence.

Dynamic Destruction

Inflict Slow on the target after it has been hit to reduce movement speed by 40%.

Passive 1: Greatest Rival
Increase damage dealt by 20%. Deal an additional 25% damage to targets in short range. Become accelerated after using skills, increasing movement speed by 49%.

Passive 2: Dual Spin
When equipping a buster or a melee weapon, increase damage dealt and reduce damage taken by 30%. Use Requiem Slash repeatedly. This effect can only be triggered again after 4-second cooldown.

Passive 3: Unite
Obtain a damage enhancement status that cannot be removed when using Requiem Zone or Bound Attack, increasing damage dealt by 70%. Inflict defense weaken status when hitting a target with Requiem Zone or Bound Attack, increasing the damage taken by the target by 45%. When Requiem Slash hits a target under slow status, it will deal additional explosive damage to the target dealing damage 150% of attack. When When Requiem Zone hits a target under continuous damage status, it will deal additional explosive damage to the target dealing damage 200% of attack. Both effects can only be triggered once again after 2 seconds, with an each cooldown being independent of each other.

Passive 4: Zeta
Unleash the power of the Zeta driver’s changing modes, granting different buffs under different conditions. Zeta Attack: When using any skill, you have a chance to obtain Enhanced CRI status, which increases your CRIR by 95% and stacks to 2 stacks. Zeta Stamina: When using Requiem Zone or Bound Attack, obtain 2 stacks of defense enhancement status, reducing damage taken by 10% with each stack. Stackable to 4 stacks. Zeta Defense: When hitting a boss character, obtain a stackable damage enhancement status to increase damage dealt by 10%. Stacks 5 times.

Passive 5: Quattro 
Activate the Ultimate driver’s four modes to obtain various buffs. Quattro Attack: Use Requiem Zone repeatedly. This effect can only be activated again after 6 seconds. Quattro Defense: When under the accelerated status granted by Greatest Rival, reduce damage taken by 50%.Quattro Stamina: When hitting a target with a skill, recover HP equal to 20% of attack. This effect can only be activated again after 6 seconds. Quattro Balance: When using any skill, you have a chance to obtain Enhanced CRID status, which increases your CRID by 95% and stacks to 2 stacks. When equipping a buster and melee weapon, increase damage dealt by 70% and reduce damage taken by 50%. Switching between Low and High mode causes various effects. Hold down both skill buttons, the result varies above and below >50% HP. This effect can only be activated once per battle. Low Mode: Hold both skill buttons above 50% HP to induce a permanent 100% irremovable healing reduction and increase damage you take by 50% but you will enter an enhanced damage state that cannot be removed to increase your damage dealt by 70% until the end of the battle. High Mode: Hold both skill buttons below 50% HP to recover 30% of your max HP and enter an enhanced defense state that cannot be removed to reduce damage taken by 50% until the end of the battle. Casting the effect grants you a 5 second invulnerability to damage and negative status. Alternatively, you can hold only the button for Requiem Zone to swap Spriggan Requiem with Strike God Valkyrie, changing both of your skills to Bound Attack and Ultimate Reboot. You cannot enter Low or High Mode at this time, but can hold the button for Bound Attack to switch back to Spriggan Requiem after 30 seconds. Once you enter Low or High Mode, you cannot change to any other form.

PASSIVE 5 MECHANISM NOTE:
"Quattro"
is the very first passive to induce various mode changing via button input. If the inputs do not work on your controller, please use your keyboard. 

When ABOVE 50% HP, hold both skill buttons to trigger Low Mode. At this state, you obtain an unremovable reduced DEF state that increases damage taken by 50%, but also an unremovable enhanced ATK state that increases damage dealt by 70%. The effects last until the game ends. Once you enter Low Mode, you cannot switch to any other mode. Both skills must have at least 1 ammo to transform.

When BELOW 50% HP, hold both skill buttons to trigger High Mode. At this state, you obtain an unremovable enhanced DEF state that decreases damage taken by 50%, and recover 30% of max HP and obtain a 5 second invulnerability to damage and negative status upon transforming. The effects last until the game ends. Once you enter High Mode, you cannot switch to any other mode. Both skills must have at least 1 ammo to transform.

When holding Requiem Zone/skill 1, enter Valkyrie Mode. At this state, your skills become Bound Attack and Ultimate Reboot. Ultimate Reboot's additional effects can only be unlocked when the character is 5*. You can switch again to Spriggan Requiem/base mode after 30 seconds, then back to Valkyrie Mode after another 30 seconds. Requiem Zone/Bound Attack must have at least 1 ammo to transform.

FDNA1: You're Too Nervous!
100% chance to become immune to the effects of immobilize. Increase dodge by 50%. Everytime you are hit, you obtain 1 point of Counter. 3 points of Counter activates Counter Break, which immobilizes all enemies on screen for 5 seconds and deals damage equal to 200% of attack.
FDNA1 MECHANISM NOTE:
You need to be hit without dodging in order to obtain 1 point of Counter. 

FDNA2: Astral Spark
When performing a jump slash, cast Astral Spark that hits the target multiple times. This effect can only trigger once every 3 seconds.When a target is hit by Astral Spark, reduce their movement speed by 60%. When firing any weapon except melee, fire 3 additional fireballs that track targets and ignore terrain, each dealing damage 70% of attack. When the fireballs hit a target, inflict burn to deal damage equal to 25% of attack every 0.2 seconds. This effect can only trigger once every 2 seconds. When you hit a target in slow or continuous damage status, increase damage you deal by 20%.

FDNA3: Cho-Z Awakening
Every 20 seconds, enter the Cho-Z status. During the Cho-Z status, increase all damage dealt by 150% and reduce all damage taken by 100%. This effect cannot be removed. When using Requiem Slash under this effect, fire 3 Spriggan Requiems that rebound when they hit terrain and pierce through enemies, each dealing damage equal to 200% of attack. However, as long as enemies are present, Spriggan Requiem will continue to seek the target until its range is exhausted. When the target is hit by Spriggan Requiem, create a pillar of flame which burns and deals damage equal to 30% of attack every 0.5 seconds.

UNIQUE RDNA: In Strength and Struggle 
For each of any of these statuses currently applied on you: Enhanced ATK or Enhanced SPD or Reduced DEF, increase damage dealt by 15% for each status.

Store Card 1: Best Friend, Greatest Rival (Red)
Skill 1: No Win, No Loss (R)
Every 2 seconds, obtain 1 stack of the unremovable VS status, which increases your damage and defense by 3%. The status stacks up to 20 times and lasts until the end of the stage. This effect will not increase even if you increase the card's star rank. If you equip more than one copy of this card, the effects will not stack.
Skill 2: Cho Southern Cross Shot I/II (R,R,Y)
Every 10 (8 at 5*) seconds, your skill is guaranteed to land a critical hit. At this time, your CRID is also increased by 1500%</color>. If you equip more than one copy of this card, the effects will not stack.

Card 2: Beigoma Academy (Blue)
Skill 1: Learning the Basics/Mastering the Basics (B,Y)
Reduce damage taken and increase damage dealt by 15% (20% at 5*).
Skill 2: The Endgoal Wasn't Victory I/II (B,Y,Y)
When you are hit, recover HP equal to 8% (10% at 5*) of max HP, and obtain an increase in movement speed, CRIR, CRID, attack, and defense equivalent to 40% (50% at 5*). This effect can only be triggered again after 5 seconds.

Signature Character Only Card: The Only Enemy is Me (Red)
Skill 1: Red Eyes That Stare Back

When landing a hit, there is a chance to consume 20% of your max HP to launch Astral Spark, dealing damage continuously equal to 300% of attack. Astral Spark launched through this method instead causes the unremovable Cycle of Regret status, which is a status shared between both the user and the target. The user takes 150% more damage for the period of the status, but the target suffers damage 30% of attack every 0.2 seconds, deals 40% less damage and has their movement speed decreased by 30% for the same period of time. When Cycle of Regret ends, all the aforementioned effects are removed for the user. The user and the target's timer of Cycle of Regret are independent of each other, should one side be knocked down first. Upgrading this card will have no effect.
Skill 2: Only The Perfect Will Stand
When you are at 80% HP or more, deal 25% more damage. When you are at 30% HP or less, you will enter into the Requiem Resonance status, which grants you invulnerability to damage and negative status for a short period upon activating, but you will take 500% more damage and be healing will be reduced by 99%, and you will be inflicted with an unremovable blind status that obstructs your vision. However, at this time, your CRID is increased by 500%, and your attack and speed is increased by 200%. This status cannot be removed, and lasts 60 seconds. Upgrading this card will have no effect.

SIGNATURE CHARACTER CARD NOTE:
"The Only Enemy is Me" can only be obtained via "A Walk Alone in Hell - Character Exclusive Random Booster" from the permanent item store. Each Booster costs 200 Elemental Metals, and is guaranteed to contain EM, zennies, event coupons, and a 0.9% chance of obtaining "The Only Enemy is Me". 

Requiem Axe Skills
Slash
Consume energy to unleash a variety of slashes. There will be a brief cooldown when energy has been exhausted, and then the energy will be fully replenished.

Passive 1: Shattered Spirit
When hitting the target, inflict defense reduction to increase damage taken by the target by 65%.  However, at this time, you will also have a 25% defense reduction penalty on yourself with the same duration.

Passive 2: CDR Device
When you exhaust a weapon energy, reduce your cool down time by 50%.

Passive 3: What Doesn't Matter
When hitting the target, inflict burn to deal damage equal to 20% of attack every 0.1 second for 4 seconds. When you hit a target in continuous damage status, increase the damage you deal by 30%.

Passive 4: Wielder of the Fiery Axe
When attacking, launch 3 fireballs that track targets and ignore terrain, each dealing damage equal to 150% of attack. This effect can only be triggered again after 1 second. When the fireballs hit a target, inflict defocus and make the target's attacks have a 30% chance of missing.

Passive 5: Who's the Strongest of Them All?
When under defense reduction status, increase damage you deal by 90%. When hitting a target under defense reduction status, obtain a CRID enhancement buff to increase your CRID by 150%.

Passive 6: Requiem Drive: Zeta
Obtain various effects with certain actions. When hitting the target, obtain a damage enhancement status that cannot be removed, increase damage you deal by 40%. This effect can only be triggered again after 10 seconds. When the the fireballs from 'Wielder of the Fiery Axe' hits the target, slow the target to reduce their movement speed by 40%. When pressing the weapon runs out of energy, Release 10 energy blades, each dealing damage 30% of attack that track targets and ignore terrain. The blades inflict attack weaken to reduce the target's damage dealt by 40% when hitting. This effect can only be triggered again after 5 seconds.

HS1: Memory: Valkyrie
When the weapon runs out of energy, enter an accelerated state to increase movement speed by  40%, This effect can only be triggered again after 6 seconds.

HS2: Memory: Fafnir
When the weapon runs out of energy, recover HP equal to 30% of attack and suffer no damage and negative status for 2 seconds. This effect can only be triggered again after 6 seconds.

HS3: Memory: Longinus
When the weapon runs out of energy, obtain enhanced CRIR to increase your CRIR by 100%. This effect can only be triggered again after 6 seconds.

HS4: Forsaken Old Self
When the weapon runs of energy, induce [???]
