This mod replaces the introduction cutscene cinematic on career start with a combination of the original MW5 cutscene and the Battletech (2018) cutscene personally edited to bring the best of both together for a more compelling and interesting experience.
How is this mod installed?
Unlike most mods this is a straight manual install with the replacing of a file via file explorer.
How is this mod uninstalled?
Reverse the order of installation by deleting or renaming the mod's intro_video.bk2 and then rename the original vanilla intro back to intro_video.bk2

How is this mod installed?
Unlike most mods this is a straight manual install with the replacing of a file via file explorer.
- Extract the "intro_video.bk2" from the ZIP Folder
- In a second file explorer; navigate to your Mech Warrior 5 installation's movie folder (i.e. H:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\MechWarrior 5 Mercenaries\MW5Mercs\Content\Movies)
- Take the "intro_video.bk2" that is already in the Movies folder and rename it to any other name.
- Now copy or cut the mod's intro video from where you extracted it to the MW5 movies folder.
- The mod is now installed. Begin a new career in-game to experience the new video!
How is this mod uninstalled?
